My 2016 CR-V is the same color as yours. We both even have a fire extinguisher in the little cargo net in the back. The bed I just finished is very similar, but I did a few things differently. I wish I had seen your video first because a couple of things you did were simpler and better than what I had done. I had not though about the legs on the thin cover over the spare tire in the back. I need to make a thin floor for mine. Thanks for the tips!
Can I ask a question re the build? At 7:18 into video Len says the legs on the initial part of the bed were 10 and a quarter inches long (i.e. 10.25 inches) but at 27:14 when the plan is shown these legs have a measurement of 10.75 inches. Can you let me know which is the correct measurement? Thank you in advance.
Yes we made an error on the diagram. The measurement should be 10.25. Thanks for catching that. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have more questions.
Good set-up. One comment: if the front plate is suspended in the air by a strap from each of the front seat head rests, space is freed up on the back seat floors for storage.
Yes, I guess you could attach it to the headrest, we just felt it was safer with legs, even it it meant forgoing some space. Thanks for much for watching. Good luck with your build.
Hey I dont see the legs portion in the build diagram? Do you happen to have those leg dimensions for all the pieces? Including the slanted one? Same car and thinking of using this setup! Links and the initial diagram are very helpful, thank you!
Sorry for such a delayed response. The leg length measurements are all in an attachment link added in the comments above. Hope your build has been good.
Awesome build! I have 2016 CRV and plan to follow your instruction. One question is why you chose 42 inches width instead of bigger width eg. 46 inches. I measured 2016 CRV, it can hold maximum of 48 inches width plywood. The bed will be wider if you have 46 inches width. Thank you in advance!
Glad you found the build helpful. Good question, we built the bed platform to be 42 inches wide because it had to fit between the wheelwells with a bit of space so it doesn't rub. If we built it above the wheelwells, it wouldn't have given us much room to move around when sleeping. Good luck with your build.
We have the same model year as yours, so I think we may give this build a try. Unfortunately, I can't read the leg lengths on the diagram at the end of your video (and you don't state the length as you did for the rear four legs and the front two). Can you provide those lengths? It would save me a bit of trial and error....
Sorry for such a delayed response. You can find all the leg length measurements in an attachment link in the comments above. Thanks for having watched the video.

set to 1.5x playback speed, thank me later.
Would do that but to be honest I’m not sure how to. It thanks for suggestion
Nice build. I got an 03 JDM Crv and planning on doing a build similar to my ride soon....
Thanks glad you found it useful. Good luck with your build.
Thank you!
Does this work for the hybrid model?
We are unsure. It is best to measure to make sure our plans will work for a hybrid. Thanks for watching and the question.
I’ve downloaded the blueprint but I don’t see the leg height dimensions anywhere. Am I missing them or do you happen to have them handy?
Sorry for such a delayed response. You can find all the leg length measurements in an attachment link in the comments above. Thanks for having watched the video.
Change the title of the video bro you say 2023 when your car is a 2016
That's correct. It's the year we posted the video. Thanks for the suggestion, but we will keep the title as it is.
