Amazingly, Andy wouldn't have cared if he lost the series and the gigantic paycheck over this. This was someone who was truly free of influence.

5.28.. 'I audio-taped the whole thing'. Well, Tony Danza video-taped the whole thing. Apart from that, the stories are the same. It'd be great to see that tape.

After watching "Man On The Moon" I realized that Andy was not a comedian or eben a comedic actor...he was a Performance Artist who sometimes was funny. He was a mad genius, an artist of the highest calibre and if you didn't get it - that was the greatest punchline.

No, Andy was the original troll. He was trolling all of us even before we were born.

amazing that he could play these people the way he did. and they put up with his antics because they realized his pure talent would make them money , pure and simple. If his talent wouldn't make them money , they never would have signed either of them.

Taxi was an amazing show! All those fantastic actors such as Denny Devito, Chris Lloyd, Andy Kaufman and the list just goes on and on... very well written screenplays and it was life in the 80'ies!

ah I knew it, andy wasn't crazy he was fucking brilliant. He truly embraced the idea that all the world is a stage. He did things most people wouldn't even think of, and most people who might think of it would never do it. I truly salute someone who refuses to conform to society. I never really knew much about him until recently. I seen his wrestling stuff and I thought at first he was loony, but now I realize he was really just acting out his fantasies like a boss!!!

I remember in the late 80's, i had watched the reruns of taxi.. I hated Taxi but I saw an episode with Tony Clifton and I thought it was so funny.

idk if it's the camera angle or the way his glasses are set on his face, but by moments his face looks like a real-life picasso character.

Jackass and Andy are so different! Totally separate monsters... You must be too young to be from the 80's?
