  • The Kamba People had a robust defense system and had highly trained warriors to defend their land and property. That's why the Kamba continue to do well even in the Kenya Military. The Akamba fought in 1st and 2nd world wars and they were chosen because of their military prowess. In these educational series we look at some of the Tangible Defense Heritage as it is curated in the Kamba Cultural Center and Museum.

Educated there from nursery to high school level in short I know nothing about our kamba culture. Am planing to pay a visit to that place how many days do you open your doors? What about your charges I mean entrance fees? Thanks in advance. B K N. Mie Mkenya.

@@akambaculturalcenterandmuseum can you cover the topic about Akamba beliefs and worship.. e. g ITHEMBO in details who was supposed to go there when what was needed. How it was done.. In specific details.. This topic is very VITAL TO waking up to true ways of our forefathers.. How ITHEMBO related to NGAI and how kambas understood NGAI (God) what types of foods were offered and how.. When it was necessary to go to ITHEMBO.. duties of women in ITHEMBO if any.. Id love to see hear all of that in one video..
Am not sure what you using for recording I can see quality is not so good we can come up with a Programe to empower you on quality video.. You're doing good work

Hello sir, you've shown us that short knife and said it was used for close quarter combat. So was there a close combat specialised training to use the knife?
