he truly does deserve a breath of fresh air throughout his future roles. whether that be more comedies,romance..etc. cause he truly does radiate sm more positivity than the dark roles he plays. he has yet to unlock so so much more potential in future roles. love to see more of evan’s comedic & sweet side!
I'm sad why people are overlooking him just because of his immense experience with particular genres. I bet directors of other genres don't want him just because of his portfolio.
He’s so well spoken and intelligent, charming too. I hope he books more roles closer to his personality so we can move past the ideology that Evan Peters is this darksided character- it really holds him back from being able to reach his full potential as an actor.
I completely agree with you and Evan has been eagerly wanting to move twords more light characters and light hearted roles and not the dankness anymore with these characters that have taken a tole sometimes on his mental health and I am looking forward to what Evan has upcoming for the future and I hope its more light hearted.

I don’t think it holds him back at all. Actors typically dream of having his roles that’s what gets them Oscar’s and Emmy’s. They’re more in depth.

I love to see Evan getting back on track and starting to take care of himself better, he's such an amazing and kind soul. Nothing makes me more happier than to see Evan smiling and having a great time. His words are just so pure and truly charming. Dark characters really bring him down and I hate to see him going through so much struggle, Evan is a blessing in disguise and if only I could tell him that in person. His words define more than just simple words, it defines thousands of emotions and heart-felt messages people really take into consideration. He's an amazing and very kind actor and I hope the best comes his way.

honestly I recently knew him from "Dahmer", so I searched for his interviews and noticed that he In most of his interviews he doesn't talk about himself at all and doesn't strive to promote his personality. He answers each question with direct brief details and then remains silent .. Despite mentioning the details his narration was always simple, shy with smiling
He doesn't try to impose himself on the presenter, and this thing makes him distinguished among his fellow actors in Hollywood. There are few actors with same personality... he has practical and humble personality far from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood Which makes you feel that he is there by mistake!
BUT at the same time he seems introverted even the way he sits , how he looks and his breathing reflects that and that what makes him intelligent person his strong personality makes him able to pull himself out and force himself to be a social and tactful speaker.
I agree with those who say he traumtized by "Dahmer" because this is among the differences that I noticed in his previous interviews, but also he's a unique personality in the world of Hollywood he was Creative and daring in his work, shy and introverted in reality .

You can really tell how much of a negative effect Dahmer has had on him from his complete change in body language and persona as soon as the word Dahmer is mentioned. Prior to that he’s laughing and making jokes, a bit like how he used to be in interviews just a few years ago, but as soon as Dahmer is brought up he becomes more introverted and reserved and is very nervous looking, especially with his hands. For his sake I can’t wait until awards season is over so he can stop being interviewed about it. Get this man a comedy asap!

Yeah it’s interesting how it happens, my theory is that they didn’t expect it to blow out the way it did, at the same time the reason it had such an impact on everyone is the way they showed how horrible the system was to the victims, so in a way they did achieve what they wanted with it, but on the account that people will sympathise to the point of hating the actor that played the important part in delivering the message. There always were films and shows about mass murderers plus the who’re real crime genre, but he got the backlash for doing too much of the good job it seems
So, like, thanks to him for changing the way people see the mass murderer “exploitation” genre, but he has to suffer for it too, if that makes sense

Love this interview and I always smile when he tells about the Olsen Twins story 😂 As a kid I was obsessed with Orlando Bloom when he played in POTC. And because of him I also wanted to be a actress and go to America to meet him.. 😂 Completely out of my league ofcourse. Because I was a child, and live in The Netherlands. But when I was young I followed theatre classes and did a presentation on school about the carreer of an actor/actress. I love(d) it!

he was okay. I'm not sure he played dahmer as it should be but got a lot of praises. The real dahmer actually not appears dark or laughless, If you've seen videos from when he was little tennager and adult, he is good looking and well spoken not dark at all, that is why people can be easily fooled. But it's hard to play a real life character, the only person who can do that is cate blachett. She can play hepburn, elizabeth, querin and almost complete accurate, but like hellen mirren said, it is impossible to play a real life charater 100 percent, i forgot the number she mentioned. I can still see evan peters'x men in dahmer's netflix, but then again nobody, not male nor female can do what blachett can.
