Yo when I tell you that was the BEST DANCE ROUTINE in 100 HISTORY. We literally didn't give two FUCKS about Southern that year. ESPECIALLY how they disrespected us the year before.
Every time i watch this, i can't believe that the MEAC went up there and acted a fool on them like that. SU has never forgiven FAMU for this ass whippin. Just dis-re-damn-spectful.
This was November of 2000'. And (Southernwhitehorse), For you to say that on this night it was a draw between Famu and Southern is utterly rediculous! Southern didn't even stay to do a 5th quarter in their own house, so their fans walked over to our side of the field to enjoy the free concert ;-) Trust me, you won't find a tape of SU's performance that night because it wasnt even close. Maybe they can make up for it in Birmingham this year.
You haven't seen heat, because in the SWAC you guys only see what you want to see, and can't hear because all you guys do is blast. We have been bringing heat for 76 years, but we already know the hatters gonna be our elevators to success...

It had been a while since the hundred came to Baton Rouge, so it was many people's first time seeing FAMU in a while. The size, the shock effect was in place. FAMU put on a good show, and was on some other ish in that corner this night no lie. I still remember the rain coming down as they were leaving out the stadium after they played their last song...

SU's fieldshows are so damn generic hell most of the SWACs field shows are 1. drum major entrance 2a. fanfare 2b Drill ( in SU's case one of the same 6 or 7 drills they always do since the begining of time that they stole from St. Sug in New Orleans) 3. play for drill team 4. scramble/ transition 5. dance routine (in southerns case, half the band plays while the other half dances because they cant do both) 6. exit with FAMU you dont know what going to happen each field show
