Very grateful for this first episode as BBC iplayer only running the second. It was imperative to listen to Love Virtually before Every Seventh Wave. Thank you very much!
thank you so much for up loading this wonderful play. I listen to Radio 4 regularly and remember being delighted with this romantic story - and even happier with lovely sequel! A love-ly story! Thanks again
Wow. I just wish I could know if Leo ever wrote back. Such a brilliant play. Again, wow to the actors and wow to the words they spoke so elegantly. Thank you BBC 4
Thank you so much for uploading this. I too cried a little at the end. I thought it was perfect. A fitting conclusion. I got the book last summer and only then realised that there was a sequel. I have nearly finished it, then I will listen to the play. Thanks again.
amazing, very seductive, sad that they didn't meet; wonder how long their pain continues; husband devious in his destruction of their possibilities! beautifully done production!
Romanof - I agree with you - V Day is normally not fun at all but I look forward. To hearing those gorgeous tones in my ear! He could be my Valentine any day!
Oh, i can't wait next Thursday ! First time of my life that i am excited to be on Valentine's day. I hate that day usually.. It's been a while since i had been listening this, but all the same, i need a cold shower!.
You're a gem for uploading this - it was never an easy listen the first time (been there and wore this tee shirt) it was even harder the second listen. So thank u :)
Listen to Every Seventh Wave on BBC Radio 4 from 2.15pm-3.00pm GMT on Thursday 14th February. Overseas listeners can hear the programme via the Radio 4 player.
oh how fantastic I came across this by chance thank u so much for uploading. you can never get enough of David Tennant lol. can I be cheeky and ask by any chance could u email me the audio so I can listen to it while in hospital without Internet. xx
@Gema Perez thank you SO MUCH for uploading this!!! His voice is just soooo.... *.* Will you be uploading "every seventh wave" as well after they broadcasted it today? Or do you know wether there will be any other chance of getting it? much love
I'm very disappointed that Emmi never went to go see Leo 😢 I know that she's married and everything but I think Leo at least deserved a goodbye kiss from his mystery woman!
My heart hurts. I want them to be together! I don't want Leo to come to Boston. I want him to stay. I wish Emmi met Leo that night. I am so disappointed. I totally ship them.
Gema Perez I love the ending to Every Seventh Wave. I'm glad that they end up together. Makes me want a guy to email me accidentally and have a whole relationship through emails haha.
Why would you want them together? At all? Emmi lied for most of their relationship, was manipulative, and treated everyone involved, herself included, like crap. I don’t understand it.
The piano piece used most frequently is Franz Liszt's "Liebestraum No. 3," known as "A Love Dream." Liszt also has a great piece of music called Un Sospiro as well.
That so many commenters here interpret this play as 'wonderful', 'amazing' and 'romantic' provides an insight into the moral degeneracy of a western society believing itself to be free of God's natural laws. Adultery is a sin and to see this play as anything other than a sordid acceptance of it is evil.
I found this YEARS ago... Listening to it today as part of my COVID19 lockdown amusement. April 2020.
Wonderful! I could listen to Tennant's voice all day.
That was fantastic! David’s voice can convey so much. The listener falls in love with him during the play.

How come David picks these roles of lovelorn/cheating lovers? Blackpool,True love,Learners,Jessica Jones and now this.
Continuing in another book, David Tennant will burn
It's been adapted, so that's shorter than the book is.
+/- 347 pages after all.
What's this about?
The book is differrent.
and mine,.....
Thanks, we will be vigilant
