Vintage OTIS Lexan Scenic Elevators-London Plaza-Hong Kong

This video has language so don't watch it if you're a sensitive little-- RANT-I was already pissed today and damn near everyone in this video managed to piss me off even more. It starts with this dude who's making this tapping beat on the handrail with his umbrella. It got old dumb fast and I got irritated in no time. When he got out, this crazy lady got on. Here's how it went. First of all, she got on an up elevator when she wanted to go down. I've never been on these before so I didn't know 12 was blocked off. When we got up there, she thought it was 6. I got EXTREMELY pissed from here on. For those of you who don't know yet, I absolutely HATE it when people don't look at floor indicators. This results in them either getting off on the wrong floor or going in the wrong direction (like what happened here). Floor indicators exist for a reason and instead of looking at your damn phone you can look up for one second. ANYWAY, on the way down I was trying to tell her that that wasn't the 6th floor but she didn't seem to understand and I started yelling back at her. I know she didn't mean to yell but hey, she was PISSING ME TF OFF. When we got to 6, it was also blocked off and I lost it when she couldn't understand. Then I thought, there's no use, so I gave up. The rest of the video goes fine. I hope you guys enjoy this video. I even added subtitles for ya'll. Dang, I got worked up writing this.
Oh shit totally forgot about the actual elevator. These are nice OTIS Lexan elevators-fully original and complete with the Lexan buttons and doorbell chimes. The other one was broken the whole time I was in HK. The starts and stops are very ploppy but that makes for a fun ride (like it already wasn't fun enough).

Those are very Haughton looking arrows, never seen those on a Lexan before. Oh and btw - if you don't like people that don't use elevator indicators - it's even worse in my country. Almost NOBODY here looks at arrows and they also press both up and down buttons or the wrong direction. Companies also make it worse by not making clear lanterns on their elevators.

You should have told the lady, "Look up there, it says 12 not 6). Also, what if some dumb person were to try to open the blocked door and then the elevator door closes? Like couldn't someone get trapped between the doors with no way to call the elevator?

You got pretty luck there. I rode these on CHRISTMAS EVE when they were packed with people. It was such a sh*tshow that I didn't even get to film these lifts. I've had the same experience with people not paying attention to the direction of travel, so I feel your pain. ;)
