man, these look good. i went with a different set of gauges and bezel, but might have chose this if i seen this vid before. might have. can't wait until i get my gauges installed. super sharp gauges, intellitronix.
I just got this cluster about a month ago. It looks great but I will say their measurements are a bit off and the cluster may not slide right into the original or even a new bezel so you may have to end up sanding the edges down a millimeter or two to get it to fit all the way around. The holes still match up, it's just the overall size that's slightly off. Otherwise, I'm happy with the purchase so far.
What manual transmission did this vehicle have? I have World Class T-5 and the speed sensor from Intellitronix is just slightly too big to go all the way in.
Sooo love the looks but problems I had 1. The oil and temp sensors need adapters that are not included to fit the factory engine. 2. The big problem their's no way in hell the speed sensor will fit my factory automatic C4, the body is too big and hits the bolt thats supposed to holt it in. I daily drive mine so now I have no speedometer.... because these issues I don't think it's worth the price tag. Otherwise happy with the appearance
Was there a solution for the auto trans? An adapter from intellitronics maybe. Just started installing mine and no issues with Temp sending unit on my 65 289, but need an adapter for the Oil Pressure sending unit to move it away from the block for clearance. You can see in the video that Bill is miles away from the block when he's tightening the unit, but the vid doesn't say what adapter to get. Gotvonr online that fits the block but its treaded for an oem sending unit and not this kits, so another trip to the parts store for an adapter for the adapter!
@@lucbegin7334 yes I flattered the 90 bend in the fork and used a small Allen headed bolt that fit just under the tapper in the speed sensor and installed by tightening the bolt to pull the sensor in. I let the manufacturer know and sent pics in case others had the same issue as I did.
Thanks for the info Paul as I was starting to worry. Another super noob question, as I rarely work on electrical systems: for the instrument cluster's power, I'm running a new 14 guage wire with an inline fuse directly to the batteries positive terminal...thats the right method right? Bill in the video mentions it but when I don't see it first I always hesitate lol. Cheers.
Did this require cutting away of the lower dash so the speedometer part clears underneath? I know when doing this mod with Autometer gauges does require fitting of the cluster panel, but wonder if this setup doesn't?
Hi Bill Is it necessary to run new wires to oil pressure and water temp sensors or can you re use the existing if the existing wires look fairly new Thanks
I installed their (intellitronix)digital set in a 68 mustang, major pain in the a$$. I like them now that they are done, but I will never buy from them again!
Great to see some vids for the classics!

Thank you so much for the video! We appreciate you and your support!
Great video, really love this kind of content! Would love to see how you take off the bottom dash and steering column!

Great vid! Very cool mustang!
Please explain how you ran the wiring to make each turn signal work.
Feel free Bill to drop by the house and use my 65' for another install video. Thanks! ;)
How about if you have the GT style factory gauges?
This is great for the 65 GT, but I'm having a hard time finding this that I can replace in my 64 1/2.

I wish Intellitronix would come out with a set of gauges for the 68 Mustang that didn't look like it was taken out of a 90s Chevy van.
What is the Tach Green wire for on these gauges?
a TACH would be a nice feature
How did you wire the left turn signal?
Off topic, what wheels are those?
Where can i get the back plate!! Im putting this is in my 65 non gt and i dont have a back playe and cant find any

I did not have to cut anything for installation.
Hello, good morning, sorry, how can I buy some things that you sell and if they send them to CD Mexico?
Love this cluster but not having a tach really kills this for me.

Thanks
Yes I would recommend new wiring to the included sensors for the most accurate readings.
@@cjponyparts thankyou. can i ask what size fuse is required to run fused constant power direct from battery
@@bobbrace7841 intellitronics says in line 5 fuse.
Do yall sell any digital gauge cluster for 89 foxbody
We have several options for clusters on our website. We did a video on the Dakota Digital. ruclips.net/video/gMBj4YSWsGw/видео.html
You don't need to cut into where the dash is to fit it since its not a gt 65 or 66
What is the part number for the analog model? Gotta get this in my 64.5!
Uhhh, just go on the website. It's a lot faster and easier than waiting on a response...
@@AutoYoung CJ Pony says fitment is good for a 64.5, but then comments and says it only fits a GT model.
Pretty sure I read in the instructions that you do NOT use thread tape on the brass fittings...
Is het ook te krijgen in kilometersperuur
Does this work with a Coyote?
I purchased a set of gauges from speedway and they look way better and closer to the Shelby ones …. And they mechanical , no electronics baby
Take My Money!!!
Bill, I'm looking for a quality ratcheting screwdriver and the one you use seems to serve you well. Would you be able to provide a link? Thank you!
I don't have a link for it but it is made by Snap On. They have a few different options.
@@cjponyparts I noticed that screwdriver used a lot as well and was wondering just how much cash it made for Bill.

You guys have got to stop putting the shitty music into your videos. It is unbearably bad.
you don't give enough information when connecting the correct wires to the new Intellitronix installation
