My family is from Coamo Ponce the last two times I was in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 Many people there didn’t speak any English. Puerto Ricans do not want to lose their Culture!
What do they speak?
Of course, most of them speak English, maybe the old people don't speak English. I am from Mexico and I lived in Puerto Rico for 15 years, and most of my friends speak English. I still love Puerto Rico. they are not friends, they are family 😂 when you eat in a Puerto Rican house, they worry if you ate or if you want more😂😂too much love 🙏🏻💕 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽💕🇵🇷🇵🇷🙏🏻
Especially the afro puerto rican culture
A majority of us do speak English. However, we say we do not as to teach foreigners that if they visit out island, they should at least make an effort to speak out language. Just as Americans force us to do when we go to the states.....
WE SPEAK ENGLISH BUT IF WE ARE AMONG BORICUAS THERE IS NO NEED TO SPEAK ENGLISH BECAUSE WE LOVE OUR OWN LANGUAGE AND OUR OWN VOCABULARY.

My family is from aguada/moca/aguadilla.
The Battle of San Juan was fought on 29 September 1625, and was an engagement of the Eighty Years' War. A Dutch expedition under the command of Boudewijn Hendricksz attacked the island of Puerto Rico, but despite besieging San Juan for two months, was unable to capture it from Spain.

Old San Juan is a colonial town. The rest of Puerto Rico looks like Florida.

El que venga de vacaciones es bien recibido, pero no se permite el descontrol por diversión.
