I was listening to the liberty vs lynx game wondering who was this person with a lisp, or talking like a deaf person.. was surprised to hear she was actually deaf. Pretty cool. Interested what deaf means in this case though. She seams like she heard the other announcers just fine so curious what she actually hears

It’s like blindness. It’s a spectrum. You can be “legally” blind or deaf but still have function in both areas.
