Early in the year O's avg with RISP was thru the roof. July they are hitting .177 with RISP!!! 2nd worst in MLB. Scoring is way too HR heavy, if they don't hit HRs they don't score. I've been saying that all year. Need 2 starters and a closer ASAFP!!!!! AND CUT BACK ON THE STRIKOUTS. Nobody protects the plate anymore in 2 strike counts. Other teams foul off tons of orioles pitches but we seem to be watchin way too many close pitches with 2 strikes.

We thought we lost 108 and 110 bc the teams were bad, well why is this team doing the same things those teams used to do? Pop up errors, rolling ground ball errors, fly ball out errors, careless outs on the bases mental errors, swinging at pitches way out of the zone and now guys are starting to jog to first base instead of hustling it out. If we don’t do something about this and use our voice as fans, we are going to wind up being back in the basement as the doormats of the division. This is managerial. Four runs today all allowed by errors. Every single run. Three games in a row. We pulled out the Miami game after blowing the lead with very bad plays, last night we gave away 2+ runs and lost by two, tonight it’s 4-0 and we have scored all four for them. They pitch too conservative and their relievers have not been good disguising their pitches, when pitching for balls. Maybe that falls on their pitching coach, or they had so many injuries with their ptiches, that the talent depth is that strong?

The good pitchers, whether starters or relievers, disguise their pitches to look like something else. If a pitcher can throw a heater fastball(95 - 100 mph), then they may try to blow it by the batter in the strike zone, unless the scouting report on a batter is they are a fastball hitter.
