It’s not about when you receive the prophecy it’s about who is giving the prophecy. The prophecy Ash was getting was God planting seeds in his heart to bring him to this place. God knows what he is doing and he knows whether you’re going to stray but the prophecy still stands. God always speaks to who you are going to be because he knows the end from the beginning because in the spiritual realm this has all already been accomplished.
