the truth is neither Mbappe nor Haaland are complete footballers. Their overall game lack in many departments.
The thing is Haaland is a natural goalscorer and in EPL you get space since teams dare to play openly. Therefore Haaland is well suited for the EPL. While Mbappe is all about pace. You stop his pace, there is not much he can do. Mbappe would also have been better off in the EPL rather than La Liga.
I’m a Madrid fan and never clowned Haaland. Commentators claim he has to get more involved, screw that. A striker needs to score goals, not try to play Left Back to get involved in the build up like Harry Kane. That doesn’t win trophies, hence why he’s trophyless.

This isn't Ligue 1 anymore. I'm by no means Mbappe's biggest fan or even a fan, but I can admire his skill and talent. Mbappe aside, any player that goes from Ligue 1 to La Liga deserves patience and time to adjust to a new league and a new environment. It is unreasonable to sink the boot in so soon when he hasn't been given the chance to do that. In La Liga, teams play slow and tactical football. Many teams would slow down the tempo of the game and small teams deploy low-block systems.
But, i agree, Mbappe is overrated. The media made him look better than what he actually is.
In the recent three games, it appears that Mbappe is not comfortable with the goal behind him. He is not a box player. Often, he switches positions with Vinicius to be on the left side. He does not have all the space he usually prefers.
The combination of Mbappe and Vinicius seems to present a challenge that is not easily resolved.

He needs to play for the team and the rest will Come. Right now he really wants those goals and is missing opportunities for assists and opening up the defense for a pass back to him.
