Near The Cross is one of Pastor Smith's favorite hymns. Take a stroll down memory lane, all the way down to Macon, GA, where his first pastorate began. This was recorded at the Beulahland Bible Church. Four months later, he would be called to his current pastorate, The House of Hope Atlanta.

I love to hear Dr. E. Dewey Smith, Jr., There is nothing like the old hymns of the church. This is what I grew up on back in McHenry, MS. My father was a Baptist preacher and we sang so many old hymns. Our churches need more of those songs today.
