I love working with very simple motives, I love to capture something so abstract something so elusive as an inner state and embody it in a concrete real form. A simple form but with many possible interpretations. In this drawing I wanted to create a very simple motive with a strong dynamics - the movement in the hair. I was inspired by many legendary artists such as Richard Anedon (the way he captured hair movement), Herb Ritts, Bert Stern and his sense of light as if the subject was in a dream (that’s where I created the white clothes fading into a light), David Sims and his dynamic portraits for Jil Sander campaigns, Craig McDean, Paul McLean, Charlotte Robin etc. They all work with simplicity yet telling incredible stories.

That's talent. I watch some dude art videos and it took him 40 years to be decent, and he's not even 50% as good as she is. Some people are just more talented than some other. 🤷♀️

@@shizukagozen777 talent is something you are born with, saying it's "God given" is implying the person did nothing and was gifted the skill instead of practicing for god knows how long
The drawing skill is incredible on it's own. However, all the special technique used to achieve the look, the feel, the texture and end appearance is just astonishing. I've never seen anything like this. Heavenly....
The truth is this is just angel that fell right out of the heavens. As you can notice she was on the original planning committee of what beautiful was going to look like in the creation of humans.

髪の毛の質感、リブニットの柔らかさ、どこを取っても素晴らしい画力。そして最初から完成させて描くということは、構図的にイメージが出来上がっていて、迷いなく描いている。なかなか出来ませんよ😊

I hate being mr obvious, but in case you wanna know, it's because the value of an artwork isn't always determined by the sheer beauty of it. Sometimes it's because it has a deep meaning or in most cases it's because of the painter itself

@@danibaba7058 exactly. And even if money laundering isn't a thing, it's still gonna happen because most people would still appriciate a painting so long as it's hanged in a museum. It's a sad reality indeed when people would appriciate abstract colorful pattern more than delicate details
