Arthur Armstrong thank you. I’ll be tearing this real down soon and cleaning it probably in a 2-3 part video as it’s hard for people to watch a 25-40 minute video. But I want to explain like I did this one with everything laid out in front of me for everyone to see. Thanks again and don’t forget to subscribe. Thanks again. Chris Rose
Fishing with Mike Chavez thanks man. You wouldn't believe how much those drag washers smooth out your reel when it starts paying out line to the fish. I just gotta a 6500 cp camo catfish pro rocket I'll do a little review on but it's awesome. Catfish connection sells them. Once agin thank you!!
On my 65hundred how or can you clean the drag washers , I cleaned reel in hot soapy water, dried it, lubed it , but I have literally no drag now , I left the drag washers dry Polease help!!!!!
Steven Palmer first of all make sure you put it back together correctly. Yes you can run the washers without grease and it should still work. Now. Once you take the handle off and then the star drag you have those two little round ackward looking washers. Those half to be put back in correctly also. Best way I can describe it is to flip one over until there is space in between them when you hold them. When they’re together they should have a space in between them. One way will have no space between them and one way will have space between them. Kinda like a smily face. See if that helped.
Cat Daddy Fishin I the two washers were aligned ok ( ) like that , I cleaned the lube off of washers plastic and metal , yea I cranked the star down as far as it would go but no drag , but she’s working fine now for shore, Tks a bunch for reply man . Yes they are running dry for now and doing good
the Swedish wanker I gotta get another laptop and I can start uploading again. Thanks for the sub my friend. My kids totally wrecked my laptop and the pc with there online gaming. Grrrr
Sea Dragon Angler thank you for watching. I'll be doing some end of year cleaning on all types of round reels. Step by step because I've watched a lot that don't explain what this is or what that is and just say put this here yah know. You save a lot of money if you do it yourself. I've got roughly 25-28 round reels. So it would cost me a fortune to get them cleaned. Plus I upgrade some things too depending on the reel. Thanks for watching. Please share and subscribe if you would and I'll do the same
Seen your channel on a Shoutout video, Thought I would come by and check you out. You now have my support! If you get a chance to swing by and check out what we are doing then I would appreciate it. Keep it up!

Steven Palmer Also make sure you’ve tightened your hand screws enough and if all else fails put a light coating of grease on the drag washers.
