bought this set and one or two other pieces they sell seperately such as a 1/4 insta selfie stick / tripod connector. believe me they're fantastic. much better than the previous version. plastic is stronger, magnets and they lock. worth 100% $10 bucks.
That’s great to hear. Yes, I was impressed at the rugged feel to these items considering the price. These exceeded my expectations.
I want to use my dji action camera as a studio camera with good lighting. I need a tripod with overhead boom arm, and also an adapter which can attach my dji action camera to the tripod. Can you make a good video about how to do it?
Thank you so much for sharing 🙂
You’re welcome!
Stupid question, I can use tne adapter with Ulanzi MT-47?
I wish they had the Osmo Action 4 mount that directly flows into the male end of the go quick II. They make a 1/4-20 that does this, but it rotates when you try detaching the go quick ii portions.
Yes, that would be nice.
So, you can only attach to 2x devices at a time unless you buy more accessories. To go from one standard GP mount to another requires additional purchases, correct? I’ll continue with the thumb screw. Company needs to rethink their accessory packaging!
The Go-Quick II Basic set includes three bases and one camera connector. So technically this set allows for connecting one action camera to three different mount options.
@@GreatDayForAHike company still needs to rethink, at least for me! Appreciate it though!
You’re welcome!
I honestly believe it's the best and cheapest quick mount system available from any company. i really needed mine for the GoPro clip mount, insta selfie stick, my gopro shorty and TELESIN Neck Mount SE. .... it drove me nuts unscrewing and remounting, now I just half twist and click. now I can vlog with the shorty for a quick minute or two and mount it back to my backpack strap in seconds while walking and without stopping or dropping screws.
@@adz-ql6kv Good for you, but for me personally, I feel the company could have done a bit better with the package contents! I’m still a no go!
Why not just use the GoPro quickmounts? Cheaper and faster and available everywhere.
The GoPro tripod mount kit cost $20 USD last time I checked. It’s a single mount and does not include multiple options. GoPro does have some of the stick on mounts as well but these are limited use cases and these are not designed to connect to tripods. I love a lot of the GoPro accessories and own many but when it comes to this type of mounting and fast switching I like the value this kit provides for the price.
💯‼️
Thanks!
5:50 that what she said 😂😂 sorry couldn’t resist. All seriousness the magnet release system should be a GoPro goto accessory. Ordering now. That has been a gripe of mine for sometime now. I believe in a no brainer work flow approach. With my photography I have everything setup so it’s the very very minimal time worrying about the mechanics and more on the creative and perspective side. More time shooting less time fiddling around unnecessarily. Sometimes second’s really count and I have had shots lost not being prepared.
😂
Yes, absolutely agree.
@@GreatDayForAHike ULANZI ordered via your link thx!
Hi ,I wander if you can give me some advice please. After taking some videos and exporting them to my mobile phone they are jumpy in playback. Can you help please?
Do these videos have a jitter or ghosting appearance to them? Is that what you mean by jumpy?
@@GreatDayForAHike definitely a jitter, but since then that same footage has suddenly become ok and smooth. I think it was my temperamental WiFi that caused it.
Great to hear.
Have it, and worn out before a years time and threw away then break the camera, things wear and I did exactly that on plastic parts
The few I own are still going strong.
@@GreatDayForAHike they are great for lighter weight products not light weight ones
There is a listing on eBay for these on a quick release base.... so its a quick release device already on a quick release base im a bit confused at what that is trying to accomplish.
It’s convenient if you mount the base on several different accessories. You can then easily move the action camera between different accessories with the base. Fast swapping capabilities. Most action camera mounts by default require undoing and redoing the thumb screw to move them.
I had no idea this existed and have been using a quick release plate - picking this up!
I did not know about this either until recently. I consider it a well spent $10.
@@GreatDayForAHike yeah I picked them both up through your links - thanks!
You’re welcome!
What editing software is used in the 14 day tutorial? Thanks
Which 14 day tutorial?

£32 quid in the UK 🤦♂️
Yes, I am not certain of various global pricing for this item.
I have been using this system since November last year and cannot fault it. It really is a fantastic product; it's stable, sturdy and foolproof.
Good to see it getting some exposure!
That’s great! I wish I had found it sooner. A superb value for the price.
@@GreatDayForAHike yep, I came across it when is was looking for a new monopod/handle, but ended up buying the whole system. Glad I did!
Great!
Would this be a viable option for motorsports/watersports environments? A lot of bouncing and banging going on.
From my experience the combination of the magnet and latch is strong provided the release lever does not get hit. If in or near water, I always recommend having your action camera inside a floatation mount with any method of attachment. That way, in case the camera detaches it will float and not sink.
I like your channel. Well done & very useful tips & tricks
Thank you!
