Breaking in a new glove and it's going fine. I kind of want the oiled chestnut leather to look more oiled and darker. I've used Sarna Oil twice in this effort, and I'm considering using Mink Oil to get the look I'm going for. I don't see that being a big issue and I won't be using it repeatedly, just to make cosmetic adjustments on the front end. Plan on using Sarna Conditioner long term.
The glove is a 44 Signature Series brown with an oiled chestnut inlay.

Is the pocket for a single post web directly under the cross part or is it the same spot as other gloves?
Do you break in gloves differently then? Do the webs affect the break in? Yabai gloves?
Have you tried dyeing a used glove? I first use a Deglazer, followed by an alcohol based leather dye. I've had great success with Angelus products. Also, why do u use the eyelet threader instead of screwing the lace into a lacing needle?
Is it normal for the threading holes at the tips of the fingers next too the welting to be a bit stretched out after malleting and breaking in the glove?

It’s about 9 years old, still has original laces but I keep it regularly conditioned and fairly clean. Would love some fresh laces. Web laces are thinning and stretched
I bought a Rawlings elite a month ago and I put condition on it and played catch a good bit and it is still stiff what do you suggest?

I am wanting to find someone to rebuild my first base mitt I used all the way from little league to high school. It’s completely wrecked on the inside. Only reason I stopped using it was because a lace broke mid game my freshman year of high school and my dad put his hand int he glove and was like, this is horrible. If it were me I would have replaced it and kept using it.
Any recommendations for a company that can do that? Finger stalls need to be replaced and the whole glove needs a relaced. I know it will cost more to rebuild this glove than it would cost to just get a new one. But, I would love to play catch with my nephew with this glove for nostalgia sake.

He’s 78 years old now and he used that glove all through his baseball career playing some form of minor league ball player way back when… wish I knew how to contact you to see how much it would cost…

Relaxing gloves is super relaxing and doesn't hurt your fingers at all if you have a needle and needle nose pliers. I assumed the "ball glove king" would be into all the care and maintenance of ball gloves, not just the unboxing and break-in of brand new gloves.
