I fully agree with this but the manga showed that they were at least closer then it may seem😭 We've seen that when krul met yuu she felt unsure on reuniting them because she wanted to first test yuu to see if he really wanted mika back. She thought that it would be unfair for mika to have gone through all his suffering just to find out that yuu was okay with the way things were. Mika also asked her if she loved him and she said she wasn't sure because she can't feel love but she does care about him. It was also mentioned that she does truly care about him bc he's part of her "clan" so yeah. Mika also has shown in some scenes that he cared about krul. When krul was arrested Mika did show at least some discomfort. They also did have some nice moments. when Mika arrives to hear Krul's declaration of war, she smiles when she sees him. Later she gives Mika ten days of her blood so he can look for Yuu. Then Krul attended a Parent Council meeting with Ferid, where he brings Mika with him to the meeting. When Krul gets angry at Ferid after the meeting, Mika worries about asking if she was okay. After Mika escapes with the squad, he tells them that Krul turned him into a vampire and they can trust her, so he offers to ask her for help, to which the others agree. When Krul was captured by the vampires, she and Mika noticed each other and exchanged glances, but immediately stopped looking at each other so as not to arouse suspicion. When Krul starts to burn as punishment, Mika watches it, but then turns away with obvious concern on her face. In Ancient Greece, Krul was one of those who saw Mikaela's corpse in a secret room. Not to mention most vampires would've just let their sire die and would shame them for not drinking human blood yet krul doesn't force him. Ig these were the things that sprouted the mom krul head cannon.
@@citricx6447 it’s been a while since i’ve truly read the manga since im js waiting for it to marinate but i agree with everything you mentioned! i know that the krul mom agenda didn’t come from nothing and I can see why people would push it. It’s harmless and it’s a nice headcannon to have when all we’ve been getting is angst lately lol. i just dislike how the majority of the fandom always overlook the toxic aspects of their relationship and just boils it down to mother and son when their relationship is so much more than that. i would go on a rant about it since i like analyzing characters relationships n stuff but i suck balls at putting things into words unfortunately 😞…

I know the manga is long, but i really suggest reading it if youre trying to make it as cajon as possible. And also bc the manga is literally amazinb the art is majestic the character design is incredible almost everything that happens has a reason and it genuinely makes so much sense once you finish it (and the side story "guren ichinose catastrophe at sixteen"!!! Which is super important to know where the virus and vampires + demons came from)
