@@sh0ckster_ i think hes talking about RUclipsrs? Its fine to have a preference in content. Its not like hes on their videos complaining about how they play?
My only tip and its totally optional, but consider putting the Play Tables in the back so that the product can be closer to the door. I put my registers closest to the door, then the product, then the tables. You do this to get more transactions per day. The faster a customer despawns, the sooner a new customer will spawn. Again totally your call, just spreading some wisdom.
another thing I do is place high profit items closest to the entrance (board games and figurines). My card packs are not shelved for profit, they're shelved for aesthetics and organization (top shelf starter deck, second shelf booster packs, third shelf matching booster boxes, fourth shelf tbd) and I'm focussed on stocking everything but I set everything up so my high profit transactions would as quick as possible.
I love this store. Really neat. My store has too much tables. 3-5 always empty. so i need to delete them now. Tryed it a week. Small shelfs are for board games and plushies. The problem : my store looks small and very closely ;). I hope an update will give us more store space on the long side ;).
Easily the nicest looking most organized simulated store I've seen in this game! Great job! I am actually a little jealous of how IRL it looks!👍 wish I had that vision in my game😢
what made my shop pop was putting some personal shelves with cards, boxes and packs, next to the window and facing the outside . I put em in the personal shelves so no one buys em.
im on day 56 in my game level 29, this is my dream goal, since im going for a second room storage room kind of deal. didnt know workers work the shelves like that. ive been running basically solo on stocking and storage
I would assume the min/max one item thing is realistically unintended. So I'm just gonna play the way that makes sense for an actual shop and stock wide on products because it would get real annoying if I went into a game shop and they only stocked 1 item per day based on market value lol.
Yeah the one item methood isn't the most fun as I mentioned. Its just interesting to see how far we can push the game. Although this methood is now outdated since the recent updates have changed how customers behave at higher levels. They want specific items more now, so the one item methood has pretty much been nerfed.
I believe the max number is 14. I'd love to maybe just squeeze 2 more in but idk where id put them. Im entertaining moving the card area to where the tables are and putting tables in the back where the cards are maybe
Sounds like the situation I'm in atm. in my game - I'm trying a collector start + lazy, so I got to shop level 25 asap so I could hire the decent cashier, and now I'm not making much profit, so no expansions (yet). Only given me a couple of Foil Full Image cards so far, though. I have more ghost cards than that :P It's gonna be a long one at this rate, I'm up to day 35 so far.
Nice to see a store look good and make money, not some min/max nightmare, loving this game so far, still a ways away from where you are, but soon Cardigans will become a go to store!

How did you get 180k exp in one day? Crazy that you've opened 100k packs and are still only lv 87. I'm never making it to 100, lol. I just went back to fashion over function as well. Two things I liked were putting two small cabinets on the side of a single side shelf. And using three small cabinets in a diagonal. Adds dimension.
@@Abattoir23 Before opening the store I opened like 3k or so booster packs because I got rid of everything to start with a clean canvas. So that xp came primarily from that. Its a slow grind for sure, 100k packs and still havent completed the collection, but Im enjoying the process. I expirimented with the diagonal shelves too, I did kinda like them, but I ended up not using it. I do love the creative ways people come up with using the shelves though
@@EpicDuskk if u put it side by side it also wont do anything , im using the smaller version of it , thats why im asking if that version u put two of it side by side will work..
One thing I do with my storage shelves is rotate them so they're facing the back. That way, you can easily see if a single box is missing from the front. I'm pretty sure I've seen employees take from both sides regardless of which way it's facing.
I hate how we’re penalized financially in this game for having a variety of items like an actual game shop would instead of players who min max their shops and make out like bandits.
@@TheCaptain3850 Well they've updated the game so now stocking more items is optimal. Still though I wouldnt call this being "penalized" With games like this, theres always going to be an optimal way to min/max and usually that methood is going to be something unintended like selling only a single item or something. But you dont always have to be maximizing efficiency either. These are single player games, you're only competing against yourself after all.
@@EpicDuskk I understand where you're coming from and "penalized" might have been too strong a word for it. But it just feels frustrating when I build up a nice looking shop and have all these cool items for sale in it for it to have a negative income business day. Then I gut everything out of it, put two wide shelves down, load them up with nothing but the same card pack, and clear thirty plus grand in a single day. It just feels frustrating and backwards to me honestly.

You can also "Rotate your players" by trying to lift the table from under them. They'll go about their day, count as players and then shop/leave.
A Singles box, for pricing and storing would be cool, so the workers can pull from the box and replace sold singles
