I know The Mimic is known as "one of the best horror games on roblox", but I see way too many jumpscares. When done right, Jumpscares are good, but when used too many times, it just detracts from the experience.
If studios know anything about horror games they wouldnt pump out jumpscare simulators
Even if they do the simulator should have gameplay elements
honestly the only reason it's known as one of the best is because it came out during a time where nobody put any effort into their horror games
They toned down the jumpscares in Book 2, and added some gameplay elements. There's still jumpscares, just not much as before, and everything isn't a giant maze anymore.
i play this fairly often and the amount of jumpscares is based on if you get caught by enemies or not, there aren't many outside of that
Book 2 Is completely different from book 1.

I can't wait for them to play The Stalker or, the updated version, The Stalker Reborn. It's basically The Hidden from G-Mod in Roblox. It's still a pretty good game even though it hasn't been updated in God knows how long.

Rogurt has been my go to horror games content creator since the beginning of 2023.
A tip for chapter 1 in the part where theres the crawling lady, you can hide in the moss or grass on the walls.
I have played all chapters,this was funny!
Also here’s some tips,
For jealousy,looking for rats,I would recommend check the big rooms!
And then I would recommend checking the well room where you poison the rats go in that other room behind the well,there can be rats in that room!
And then I would recommend checking small rooms!they can be in there too!
Or you can also check behind stuff that helps me a lot!open doors before reading the book it helps.
After you do the rats part(for the next part the run)
I recommend turning on ur light!it helps see more.
And then don’t look back,look where your going!
And open the doors fast,if you open them slow
The monster will just get closer.
If ur with ppl you can let them open the doors it may be easier for you!

For this part, it’s a run.
Your just gonna walk, for now.
Whenever it says “run” your gonna run,
Ur gonna want to sprint. it should only take one try.

so for this part it took me a hour 😅
It’s a bit hard, and i hope it won’t take y’all long! so first.
After the run you will spawn in this little village I guess?
The village is filled with like monsters and stuff, but don’t worry ur safe for now!
you will just keep walking, intill you see a crow on a roof, it can’t hurt u btw-
so before you see that, ur gonna talk to the alien person, they also can’t hurt you. So after you talk to them, ur gonna want to find a lake, there’s a red man He’s tall sitting down and he has horns… after you talk to him, a monsters spawns. So when the monster spawns,ur gonna want to find a key. and you know every single horror game has keys are we shocked? Nope anyways so there’s houses you need to go in to find the key and stuff anyways the house with the crow on it has the key 🔑 but if ur not with anybody another part may be a bit difficult 😅 or if you have anybody to play with you! like:siblings:friends:family. Or playing by urself! Is absolutely fine, so ur gonna go in every single house, there should be pictures in a lot(mostly all the houses) so ur gonna want to type what you think the pictures look like in chat, if ur with friends or anybody even random people then that’s okay cause they can help! when you got the key, and all of the pictures what you think they are you see this statue and ur gonna want to go behind it and walk forward there’s a door that needs a key 🔑 😊 ur gonna unlock the door with the key, there’s another monster in here! it’s kinda like a statue girl- so there’s pictures and! Candles 🕯️! there’s a reason u needed the pictures so if you have a anybody there gonna see if she’s coming theres 3 floors. Your gonna look at the pictures! if it looks like a picture you have saw light it up with the candle, remember if you mess up with a picture that was NOT in any of the houses you will have to restart all the pictures, and light the ones you have saw all again, whenever you do that. (It may take a couple tries) ur gonna go down to the bottom of the floors like down all of the stairs, and this statue holding something will appear it should be holding something or there not even may be a statue also ur gonna grab it go back outside and bring it back to the red headed demon,

omg i might use this bc i finished book 1 so long ago and I tried booked 2 chapter 1 and cant get past the rat bit and the controls have now made it more difficult too so I haven't played tbh
