Many thanks for these lovely Sunday birdie videos. I look forward to it every week. You are so blessed to be where you are, as are the birds that you attract there. Bird people are unique and at times eccentric. I know because I am one. Enjoy your time away from filming. Love and blessings to anyone that may see this. 🙏🏻🐦
What a wonderful way to enjoy your morning coffee, thank you very much for all the time and effort you put into making the birds so happy ,you truely are appreciated....Wishing you and your family and all the viewers A Very Merry Christmas and A Happy and Healthy 2025.
That is a feeding frenzy 😄. It's just a perfect setup. All those adorable little ones and a Purple Finch too!! I've never seen a Purple, only House Finches. I saw a video the other day on Blk Capped and Carolina Chickadees and how to tell them apart by their song. Apparently we're on the dividing line between the two, along which they can hybridize. I'll have to pay close attention now to their song. Have a wonderful, Merry Christmas Sandy and a very Happy New Year!! And again, thank you SO MUCH for the gift of this lovely channel 🥰. ☃️🌲♥️🌲☃️
It seems like the Black Capped Chickadees are a little larger than the Carolina. At least they look kind of chunky in videos I’ve seen. Merry Christmas!
Happy holidays to Warbler Ridge and all of us who enjoy our Sunday morning interludes! This channel clearly means a lot to us... guaranteed peace, entertainment, and great viewing up close and personal 😊 Let's look forward to meeting up "next year!" ❤❤❤ Purple Finches welcome!
What fun! Do you know whether the titmice stash the seeds they grab or just take them elsewhere to work on? I love their chisel beaks. Also, I'm pretty sure I heard a Ruby-throated Hummingbird, if that's possible. Thank you!
@mkinch2182 A Hummingbird would be very unlikely here, particularly the Ruby-throated. I’ll keep an eye out tho! I think the Titmice are stashing some of what they grab, but they also need to take their seeds somewhere where they can work on them. Birds like the Cardinals have beaks that allow them to crack and extract seeds but the Titmice and Chickadees have to hold the seed between their feet and peck it open. They usually fly over to a nearby tree branch to do that.

Thanks for watching and Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Thank you for feeding the hungry little ones. Your seeds may be what keeps them alive during winter when food is short supply.

Fingers crossed for more of the purple guys 🙂 happy Holidays and see you in a few weeks!
I love the color of finches even when they are not bright yellow. All the creatures God made for our enjoyment!
I enjoy watching the Goldfinches change colors as the seasons change.

Thank you and happy Nee Year to you too!
Happy Holidays!
The tufted titmouse is picky. It sorts through seeds before choosing one.
I think maybe he’s looking for the heavy ones so he gets bigger seeds.
