Hi! A lot of factors come into play when you say you want to join the merchant navy. You need to provide your background first. Second, which department do you want to join i.e. the deck department or the engine department? Third, what are your qualifications? 10+2 PCM or not. What was your aggregate in the 10+2 board exams? Once you provide sufficient details I might be able to help you in taking an informed decision.

I think when girls join a merchant navy, they get benefit that they r girls , and they cant do heavy jobs..i just want to ask, now u r sailing as 3rd engineer..can u do generator overhaul major work without help of so many people..coz if u r men then i am sure , CE will not give u so many peoples....
Don’t worry she has been promoted to 2nd eng and now working happily as Suprintendent with Mearsk Tankers , no help she has been treated like any other Engineer , what’s makes u think a girl will need more hands I have no idea . ❤️😀👍🏻💪🏻
