The hate is crazy to me because I just really like the world and the relations that characters had with the Trump Kingdom, also Mana is SUCHH an amazing MC like there’s nothing to hate about her and then the whole thing with Aguri and Regina and the princess? Omg peak plot twist (yes I’m severely biased it was my childhood shut up). I understand why Smile is so low (as someone currently rewatching it lmao) bc back then the motifs and themes were much vaguer, like “fairytales” and “dreams” and “happiness” was a part of every season, but I’m glad after Smile, doki doki (sort of) changed that. You definitely see more prominent motifs with more recent seasons like Star Twinkle, Ala Mode, Tropical Rouge, etc (I feel like Suite as well and it set a good example for later seasons). Such valid rankings!!
I like Healin good but Cure Earth made what would have been a great season a meh 1. My favorite season (I haven’t seen all of them) is Wonderful bcuz all the characters are so cute together and the villains are AMAZING!!!
