I can relate to the "red face" you were talking about. I'm very pale and whenever I get nervous my cheeks turn bright red as if I have a sunburn. Back in grade school people would ask me if I was okay and even teachers sometimes pointed it out. It was so embarrassing and it's the entire reason I started wearing foundation.

I am married to a Dutchman and I speak rather fluent Dutch, having lived there 4 years back in the late 80's to early 90's and worked hard to learn it. (I was a trained French teacher) We live in the states, but have been to NL for the past 35 years 1-2 times per year and I ADORE the Dutch and culture. Seriously. Beyond blessed to have three 1/2 Dutch-1/2 American Children and they embrace and cherish their Dutch-ness too. Yes the Dutch speak English well, but you got it ALL down, girl. I could go on and on. You aren't even wearing foundation! I think, considering what you normally like to do, this was a great attempt at natural.

I too have very red skin and i realized that even with a light coverage foundation...i like the look better.
