Y’all are welcome for this one 😂😂😂 so IWABO was the 2nd band she was in. She replaced the original vocalist last minute (it’s a while long story.) Her first band was Unicron (yes, Unicron not Unicorn 😂) which was one of her younger brother’s band and the first time she ever did screaming. He basically asked her if she could do it cause he wanted the band to be heavier and she was like never tried it but sure and just started doing it lol there’s a video she’s in where she explains the background of how she started out and the evolution. Her husband was not in the band at the time of this song/video so he’s not here. IWABO was very interesting. They didn’t take themselves too seriously and made the dumbest cringiest videos and named their songs after weird things (examples would be Tastes Like Kevin Bacon, Karate Nipples, That Ain’t Them Dogs Real Voices, Alaskan Flounder Basket, etc lol) but they took the music seriously. Her husband joined in 2014 I think. Their final album was in 2015 called Hail Mary and it was the first and only album that they took a more mature and darker approach. But her and her husband quit in 2016 because they felt held back by the IWABO sound and hence Spiritbox was formed with their first EP out in 2017. Andrea, they actually took inspiration from Killer Clowns From Outer Space for the video so I love that you noticed that 😂 I’ll request a song from Hail Mary tomorrow during stream. The genre of this band is mathcore/deathcore. And that album especially is super technical and heavy. Edit: I forgot to mention she’s actually wearing a Fall In Archaea t-shirt which was her husband’s band at the time! Anyways, we love the generic brand of Power Rangers lmao
