I remember I test drove a manual GTI and the guy didnt come with me. It was the first time I drove a European manual and didnt know I had to push down to get in reverse. I was going to turn the car around in a hotel parking lot. everyone was looking at me crazy when I had to put the car in neutral and literally push it backwards a bit so I could drive.
I had the nerve to tell the dealer that the reverse didnt work 😭
This made me feel better about me getting one as my first car for sure. Thanks man
