DOES ONION SKINS FERTILISER REALLY WORK? I watered my plants with it for 7 days to find out

There are many videos on RUclips claiming that Onion Skins make great plant fertilizer. But I've yet to see a video which showed me the result of the onion skin fertilizer after use.
No doubt the idea of reusing kitchen scraps is captivating, but a claim cannot be true until it is fully tested and documented.
This video is exactly that. It is my experiment with Onion Skins fertilizing and my quest to find out if they really do work as plants fertilizer.
To make the onion skins fertilizer:
1. Soak collected onion skins (i used 3 medium sized red onions) in 600 ml of water
2. Leave it overnight/ 24 hours
3. Use the pinkish/orange tea to fertilize your plants
4. I do top up with onion skins as and when I have more and top up the water after each use.
note: please do not fertilise 7 days in a row on normal circumstance. It will work against the plant and can cause build up and root burn. Follow the usual weekly or once every 2 weeks rule.

It really works. Compared to everything else, all other diys in internet, this is the thing that has worked best for me. It helps plants like Rose, Bougainvilla etc flower a lot. You can just put ur onion peels directly in flower pots. No need to make liquid or anything. Remember, For growth of plants, you need to suppliment with little npk separately. 🤓🤓

Yes you can in fact you will have some onion leaves Later :). Also there is risk of a rotting bulb if you over watered..

I soaked overnight but i guess you can use it as soon as you start seeing some pink or red onion pigments in the water.. it's just milder but that's how it should be

How do your prepare the onion skin fertilizer? Any amount or concentration or dilution?

I just put a handful into water like that container you saw. I did not set any kind of dilutions or amount. However i do top up the onion skins like every other day as and when I have and continue to add water after use. It does not burn as it's organic but in this experiment i watered them with the solution 7 days in a row.. it is best to just water them like how you would fertilize weekly or once every fortnight.. to avoid build up in any case
