as someone who knows the dangers of dry ice burns i was so nervous during the dry ice tapping! just remember that if you’re going to handle dry ice like this to ALWAYS wear GLOVES! Make sure you always have a partner in the room if anything were to go wrong and to be so so so careful. Stay safe everyone!
Meh. Dry ice isn't very dangerous unless it's in acetone or something. Just touching it doesn't do anything, you'd need to press it against your skin and hold it there. I used to use it in experiments and for party tricks and special effects all the time.

CO2 sinks in air. She would need A LOT of dry ice to have the CO2 in the room get up to her head level or be breathing it directly from a bag. Those little cubes she had wouldn't do anything. Basically don't stick your head in a cooler filled with dry ice and you will be fine.
