- One of the pivotal moments of Fr. Cliffton Mendonca’s life was at a retreat where he understood that God was not a concept but a person. He thought he never had talents, but after the retreat, he realized he could sing, write, act, and so on. He noticed an overall change in him and how he approached life. Later on, after attending a second retreat, he began to get signs that he should join the priesthood. He shares how the Lord gently led him to discern the priesthood and formed him into the priest he is called to be.

I witnessed your ordination live Father ...didn't know anyone of you ...but slowly as I listened watched n celebrated holy mass with you online I got to know you a bit better through the Holy Eucharist ...the first time I saw you on the altar I felt the true presence of our LOrd in you especially your beautiful long hair it was like Jesus saying at the last supper this is my body .........God's choicest blessings on all of you that were ordained together and thank you for your inspiring sermons I pray The Holy Spirit upon you n our dearest blessed Mama Mary walk beside you always n forever a very big thank you to your parents and brother for standing by your decision to serve Jesus Christ

You were extremely transparent and spontaneous and spoke with great clarity.Your deep faith in God is so apparent in the entire video. The 4 pillars of formation mentioned by you really broadened your horizon as a priest. You gel extremely well with all your present parishioners, irrespective of their age.
