The original 1978 mask is my all time favorite, Spot.
Initially, I wasn't a fan of this particular Michael Myers mask, but it has definitely grown on me over time. Overall, it's another solid figure release on the part of Trick or Treat Studios. Of course, I wished that Michael Myers came included with a scythe, but it is what it is. With that aside, thanks as always Spot for another great video. I really appreciate the continued hard work. Keep it up!

I really like it too. Even as a child as perfect as the ‘78 mask is, it has NEVER scared me. It was always the H4 and H5 masks that were really freaky to me as a child. They’re still really unnerving to this day.
Yeah, the scythe would be great, and I'd like the pitchfork, as well. Since this release, they've seemed willing to include more accessories that are tailored to the individual films(like they did with 2 and 6). Maybe they could put out another specialty batch of 1:6 accessories, like they did before.
Don Shanks is 6' 1" only 1" shorter than George Wilber at 6' 2", Nick Castle is 5' 10"

Yeah but George P. Wilbur had stilts which made him 6'5", Don shanks and Nick castle didn't have stilts so they just stood at there regular heights.
My fave will always be the OG mask, but after that I love the 2018 mask and the Halloween 6 mask.

I was thinking they would be the same size. Neat to see that they are changing the size of each figure. Not a fan of this mask really but it is growing on me and I seem to not mind it. One of the creepier looks to Myers.Trick or treat studios did a fantastic job on each figure and The Review Spot is where the reviews of them belong.
My favorite Halloween mask is the original 78 mask that's been stored under a bed with smoke damage. So halloween 2 🎃

5 definitely isn't a bad film imo. It's weird, things have been changed around, Loomis is at his craziest, but it's a fun watch. I think the mask is weirdly cute, too. I'd love to have all of these figures.

The Rob Zombies halloween mask from both movies
Even though id seen the first 4 on TV earlier, part 5 was the first Halloween i saw in the theater. I also at the time liked the long neck.
Excited that my dream of getting Michaels from every movie is finally realized but these, while somewhat affordable, are still out of my price range
Nevermind just saw that they didn't add the Thorn symbol.
Great video. A good fix on the hands is to boil a cup of water in the microwave for three minutes. Drop the hands in for about 30 seconds and remove with a spoon so you don't burn yourself. They will be plenty pliable. Fun revelation on the mask enhancement due to Shanks getting his nose busted. Never knew they altered the mask so I learned something new! Thank you!

I have Halloween 78, part 4, and 5. they are really great figures. the boxes are super collector friendly and part 4 and 5 have never been done before in 1/6 scale. That makes them unique, and I feel they will be very valuable one day. Great review and keep up the good work. I personally would recommend all 3 of these figures if you're a Myers fan!
I love Michael Myers, I think the best masks (Except for '78) are: H20, Halloween Remake from Rob Zombie and Halloween 2018.
Making this one shorter is pointless. They should all be the same scale.
It would be cool to have a neca release of a part 4 and 5 figure. It would probably have more accessories.
@@user-im3gj6cl4x Agreed, but I believe NECA only currently has licenses for Halloween 2 and the David Gordon Green films (Halloween 2018, Halloween Kills & Halloween Ends).

The Shanks Myers was bigger built than the others and they should of made him taller whether it was a camera trick or not.

Great review! My favorite masks were from Halloween 6 and the 2018 version so I’m definitely looking forward to that figure and seeing how it turns out! I hope they do the Halloween 6 version in the future!

I'm a big fan of the original 1978 Halloween mask made by Tommy Wallace. But I've always loved the Halloween 5 mask by KNB. Really, the first four masks have their own unique qualities. Not a fan of the others that came after. Great review, as always! Thanks!

@@TheReviewSpot exactly! I don't feel H5 is as good as 4 but I font think it's nearly as bad as people make it out to be. It was nice to get a refresher viewing yesterday
@@TheReviewSpot I agree with both of you, H5 is a fun movie that gets undue hate for NO reason at all. And yes, you can’t watch H4 without going straight into H5 just like Nightmare 4 and 5!!! Those films are just LINKED and feel alike lol!

Hands down my favorite mask currently is the 2018 mask. Honestly overall the 2018 film and Michael are my favorite, James Jude Courtney's performance as Michael and how brutal yet unfeeling he comes off is awesome in my book, and his kills are just incredible and there is a huge variety of them. Back to the topic of the mask though, the 2018 mask just looks so good to me I guess due to the purposeful weathering, sure you could argue it looks a bit too intentional, but I love how well they pulled it off. Every detail in that mask looks like it took hours to perfect, and even the hair looks incredible. It looks so ratty but not to the point where it looks gross, but instead just cool. So yeah, currently my favorite mask is the 2018 one, but ask me in about 9 months and my mind may be changed when Halloween Kills releases. From what little we've gotten to see of the Kills mask, it looks pretty good. If I were to say my second favorite mask at the moment? Probably either the original 78 mask, or the handcrafted pumpkin mask he wears in parts of the Rob Zombie film, though I know that one doesn't really count as the famous Michael mask I still like it for its sinister smile and subtle nose hole.

Why on earth didn't they throw in the scythe and the garden claw with this Myers? 2 great weapons from part 5, would have been a definite purchase for me otherwise 😕 shame.

Garage of Horror when word got out that it was a shatner mask, Williams agent/manager was demanding money since the movies were making money off his likeness. They couldn't afford it so they had to change the mask
@@metalhead41294 I personally don't mind it not being the Shatner likeness, I mean hey the 2018 mask looks great and it barely even resembles Shatner. I just personally don't like the Part 5 mask because of the hourglass neck. I don't mind a longer neck necessarily, but I dislike how the Part 5 mask's neck curves inwards and then tapers back towards the jawline towards the top. I also dislike how stout the neck makes his head look by comparison.
