This was like the best ad LEGO could’ve ever hoped for regarding the foosball table. Just a bunch of AFOL customizing the mini figs, having a blast with it… They should come down and film all that!
Broooo I can't believe you actually saw the Santa Fe and BNSF locomotive sets out in the wild. It's an insane timeline that Lego actually did these two sets. I've been a rail buff since I was a kid in the 2000s (grew up along the gorgeous Metro-North Hudson Line and now I live by the LIRR) and the fact that it's one of your dream sets too makes you even more of a man of culture in my eyes. And foosball is one thing, but Lego foosball is a whole other story. Pink Batman is love, Pink Batman is life. Foosball lore: Some say that in a sort of spontaneous combustion of ideas, the game erupted in various parts of Europe simultaneously sometime during the 1880s or ’90s as a parlor game. Others say that it was the brainchild of Lucien Rosengart. Rosengart claimed to have come up with the game toward the end of the 1930s to keep his grandchildren entertained during the winter. There's also Alexandre de Finesterre from Spain, who claimed he came up with it while being bored in a hospital with injuries sustained from a bombing raid during the Spanish Civil War. He talked a local carpenter, Francisco Javier Altuna, into building the first table, inspired by the concept of table tennis. Alexandre patented his design for fútbolin in 1937, the story goes, but the paperwork was lost during a storm when he had to do a runner to France after the fascist coup d'état of General Franco. The game was eventually brought to the United States in the 1950s by Lawrence Patterson
That The Office edit of Dwight playing "Oh yeah" after you said that was so out of line and yet so right at the same time. The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway, often referred to as the Santa Fe or AT&SF, was one of the larger railroads in the United States. The railroad was chartered in February 1859 to serve the cities of Atchison and Topeka, Kansas, and Santa Fe, New Mexico. So the shortened name is named after New Mexico's state capital! Despite being chartered to serve the city, the railroad chose to bypass Santa Fe, due to the engineering challenges of the mountainous terrain. Eventually a branch line from Lamy, New Mexico, brought the Santa Fe railroad to its namesake city The locomotive featured in the Lego set is the EMD F7, which are diesel-electric locomotives produced between February 1949 and December 1953 by the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors (EMD) and General Motors Diesel (GMD), with 1,500-horsepower! Originally promoted as a freight unit, they were used by the Santa Fe for its high-speed flagship trains, the Super Chief (between Chicago and LA; now Amtrak's Southwest Chief) and El Capitan (also between Chicago and Los Angeles).
no offence but all these shed business should have been a separate video, every time its on its really boring, in other brick conventions you were buying cool stuff, looking up cool vendors and having fun and now its just shed and shed and for us that werent there it just doesnt mean as much
Despite how much of business Ryan has become within the lego space, this vlog and just about all his content still feels so genuine to me. No matter what, the OGs of the lego space will always have something over all the new people, Lan members and "investors". I think that's the genuine love or lego. Not just minifigures or only 1 theme. But Lego. Respect.
Can't wait for part three, I'm really proud of you man for what you've done, you've created your own business, but your own house, and is living the dream. You should be proud of yourself
WTF SEAN!!! I told you to grab me a chrome stormy!!! You bastard 😆. He even says in the video Sid wants one. 🤦♂️ I need more than one for a moc. I would have sent him the cash instantly to grab one…I’m not cheap. BTW Brent is strange wearing shirts 2 sizes up cause he has a long tee fetish. Whenever I send tees for him I’m like why does he want it so big 😆
Lego fans when told to play sports on grass
Lol

Thank you for making me re-live my painful loss
I’m just curious who was forced to put together the 3 foosball tables
