i agree to you, im actualy a person that 100% the game because why not? and i do agree that that spider boss simply is just not good disigned at all, and actualy if you somehow manage to defeat the spider boss and go back to lava village you get the armor upgrate, wich makes it more okish the damage you get, the other 2 dungeons are not too much better, ice one has you go back and forth on narrow icy walkways while icicle fall from the sky, and dessert one having a kind of interesting disign with some rotation kinda wall thingy, but honestly not too much you miss, not even the optional shadow link fight is realy that interesting, you may guess it, boss room with way too many hazards filled and all you get is more attack power, dont get me started on the final boss, after you got all 4 gems the god statue breaks and purple light apears, enter it and you now get into a combat gauntlet of 4 rooms filled with lots of enemies, and then the final boss that damages you before it actualy hits you much like the spider, and if you die there, you goin to need to do these 4 rooms with enemies all over again before you can try again, and what you get? HARD MODE?!? honestly i uninstalled it, it became rather frustrating with the enemies, but sidequest things and talk is kinda fun

Thank you for the comment. I honestly felt bad not finishing the game because I felt it wasn't fair of me to review it but not fully beat it. I just however couldn't continue with this game. Your comment however helped me realize I didn't miss anything then. I really do see this game has some good things about it here and there but man is there just a lot wrong with it. I really hope this game gets the updates it needs badly. Overall though it's sad the game just isn't worth finishing. Also dumb the reward for 100% isn't worth anything.

Apparently those 2 buttons on the sword is actually used if you play with a controller. I see screenshots where those 2 buttons are mapped. I know they were trying to copy the feel of zelda 64... but it just falls flat. having multiply big worlds was majoras thing not oot where everything was connected to one big hub world.

I was playing with a controller and it was a Xbox one controller and the buttons still were blank but would still work if I pressed anything. However agree with everything else. I see where it does hit the n64 feel but in most places it does fall flat

Eugh, seeing those models moving at what looks to be a smooth 60 FPS pre-made animation assets immediately ruined the aesthetic. It looks WAAAAAY too smooth, breaking the N64 look.

I personally don’t mind it moving at 60FPS but I can see how this would ruin the look for some people. Again it’s why I said they did do the look while modernizing it in some places. However yeah I’m sure the animations are pre made.

This looks very inspired by the actual Zelda 64, the early Ocarina of Time prototypes. A lot of these mechanics are from that.
