I have always thought it an underrated gait so it is good to hear what you are saying about the value of walk and retraining in the walk. It is fascinating to see a horse thinking about where and how they are mobilising their joints and placing their feet
Lovely. The walk is truly highly underestimated. We often want to go too fast too quickly without giving the horse time to process and feel. While we all know that also we ourselves need to slow down to reconnect with ourselves.
