This video project originally started out as a portfolio piece for a job opportunity, as I was requested to show my video editing capabilities. From effects, cutting, adding titles/text, sequencing, audio mixing and colour correction.
It ended up expanding into a much longer, meatier video that took roughly a months work and it eventually turned into something more personal, and became more of a memento for my friends and I.
The project was inspired by all the videos I had collected throughout the years of going to events, concerts and music shows alike - so the idea behind this video was to create a non-linear narrative of all those concerts throughout the years into one meaty video.
I would also be lying if I said that creating this video wasn't inspired by Andrew Bayer's Anamnesis EP. You can grab his EP here (do it, it's incredible):
