I recently saw this instrument in TV and in the program two guys played the Digiridoo with traditional drums of India and that was really interesting.I wanted to hear more and here i found it.Nicely played pals. Thanks a lot for sharing.
LOVE IT ** what a pity to see negative comments on a video showing the instrument that probabily is the origin of all music -.- , i think only human voice and maybe some drums are older than didgeridoo
Good work fellows! I took a class in didgeridoo making and playing, it was easy to make some basic sounds but it takes some real skill to play them well. One must master circular breathing to sustain the sounds. The rest is practice and training to make a variety of lip formations. One is basically making a 'raspberry' vibration like one does with their lips to a trumpet mouthpiece.
Great playing! Thanks for posting this! One suggestion - the vid title implies that aboriginal instruments are made of bamboo, which is incorrect - termite hollowed eucalyptus is the traditional material. Cheers, and play on!
True. I'm down with Cre8ive. Bamboo doesn't originality grow in Australia. But you do know how to work the instrument. Nice job. One thing for the watchers. He does play a bamboo in the beginning of the video same as the girl later on. And further on the painted one looks more like a Teak didge. Painting is inspired by aboriginal art. But normally a didgeridoo doesn't grow in parts where they use dotpainting. So, just an inspiration. The instrument probably is from some other asian country.
@Jamie I’ve never seen a traditionally played didgeridoo with dot paintings like the ones you see in the galleries. If you can show me otherwise, be free to let me know. I’m thinking about yidaki’s from Arnhemland for instant, or magu from Beswick. More land inwards... don’t know about the north west though
I don´t get why people are so anxious to start new negative dialogues and treat each other like unworthy deep shits.. Whatever demons we carry within ourselves, don´t let them tear down others for the sake of our own search in justice, pain and terror. No matter what culture you belong, I believe we all are one. Putting cultures into categories, and soon you can start talking about who´s best white or black, yellow or brown, or what country would endure a 3 world war best and so on.. The way I see it. It doesn´t matter, and only shows what little, dull and ungraceful progress we have made through the centuries. Tap yourself on the shoulder and call yourself a king, but act like you have a sense of responsibility and respect to give for free towards the next.. That should be easy enough, right..?
Talking is not subjugation of an entire race. If you get torn down by words the world's going to eat you alive. You think the guys in this video care about sjw politics?
Excellent!!! I have just begun playing the didgeridoo . I have been much inspired by this video!!! If you have the kindness to visit and see my performance ,I appreciate it !!!
Also the Natives of Australia play on Bamboo. Scientists believe that they play on Bamboo first than on Euka. First start reading then post your comments. And ... even women are allowed to play... just in some very sacred ceremonies they dont. Too much blablabla about the didge
No women allowed to play didgeridoo not even for fun!! And we do not make didge out of bamboo we make out of tree that been eaten by termites. We pay respect to the didgeridoo unlike you!
Great playing, lovely vid. Just one thing - might correct the title. Proper instruments of Aboriginal origin are Eucalyptus, not bamboo. Cheers, keep up the good work!
A Didgeridoo is found , not made by man but by ants (termites) when they consume the pith inside young eucalyptus gym trees, it is sought out by musicians and used to communicate with nature and the God of creation
Fucking amazing and I mean the entire thing! The both of you are perfect! I have never seen this much come out of togetherness never mind the sound you both produced. Stay together as long as you can cause you really are amazing.

My mate Mick told me ;-)
+Tiago Costa hahaha yess i love it
Aboriginal is an adjective, Aborigine is a noun.
I love the way this instrument sounds.
Very helpful video. Easy to see the breathing and the movement of the lips. I use it as a tutorial. Thank you.

Most didgeridoos aren't made of bamboo...traditionally, they're made of eucalyptus.
Bamboo does traditionally grow in Australia

Well said! Thank you!
It's how most of us learn to communicate, so we think it is normal. Most people never consider there may be better alternatives.
Talking is not subjugation of an entire race. If you get torn down by words the world's going to eat you alive. You think the guys in this video care about sjw politics?

Hi, I haven't heard that women are not allowed to play the Didgeridoo, sorry. Anyone know about this???? Thanks, VIDEOTRAVELNEWS
No women are allowed to play the didgeridoo in this land. In some tribes we believe that every time women play didgeridoo, elder die.
Really sick. Where are the mics at?
Women don't traditionally play? Is it filmed in Oz?
I wrote, "Did you redo" in google to find this. Man google is an advanced search engine xD

Does anyone know how he does the cougar sound at :20?
All in your lower throat. Try to trill your throat like you're gargling water while simultaneously blowing into the instrument.

Add a wha and a fuzz and you'd have acid rock!
