History of uncovered cells at Missouri State Penitentiary

  • Ward 5 Jefferson City Councilman and former prison employee Mark Schreiber shares the history of recently un-covered buried cells, which will be added to select Missouri State Penitentiary tours this fall.
    Schreiber was one of the only staff members to see the cells at the time they were first discovered in the 1980s.

    I grew up in Jefferson City always wanted to tour The Walls

      Trust me its not a very good place the tour I did lasted a decade !

      I did a small tour, in-between camps while being moved around.
