- Acclaimed Icelandic artist Ragnar Kjartansson’s video installation, Death is Elsewhere, explores our complex relationship with death in a setting that is both beautiful and bleak.
This installation is wonderful. My three-year old stayed for 30 minutes. We sing it all the time.

This was such an amazing 360 degree installation, it was haunting, comforting and impressive! Also I'm a twin so it was crazy impressive that they found two sets of twins who could sing in harmony haha!
Ran into this exhibit in NYC by chance and I didn't leave that area for a good hour. I wish I could see it again.
I saw this in NYC in The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and I was mesmerized by this. Didn't knew art could speak to me in such a way. Thanks Ragnar.

The most mesmerizing and affecting artwork I've seen in years. And I usually run screaming from video installations...
I know right. Me too. This was so out of the ordinary for me and really well done. The theme of the song, their voices and the song itself just hit me emotionally. Wish we had more such video installations than the generic ones
Why has this not gotten more attention, wish I could see the actual installation irl, reminds me of The Visitors
Just watched the installation in AGO and I stayed for so long lol.
Saw this one yesterday and I didn't expect it to be this addicting and mesmerizing. The theme about love and death is beautiful and the song just nails those emotions it's trying to convey. Brilliant art!
I went to see this once at the AGO and I was mesmerised. I stayed for at least 20 minutes. I went there again and the same happened all over again, and it was like being there for the first time. It is so hauntingly beautiful.
I have never been so floored and felt so emotional when listening to music. I went to the exhibit in Iceland and just sat down on the floor listening to it

this was such an uplifting sentiment to me when i saw this installation in person, that death is elsewhere. i did not have to cultivate it in my heart, and i could just let it be somewhere else

I saw this installation in the Art Gallery of Ontario and it was one of my favorite parts, very relaxing!

It is something else to see it in person. I've litterly spent hours surrounded by it.
