This was my first ever US marathon (I'm from Poland) and first Major. Definitely US know how to organize races and show up to cheer! So glad and thankful for the race. Weather beat the shit out of me, but I made it through and grinded the last 10k after the Newton's Hills despite dehydration and overheating.
Thanks again for joining us for some super preliminary miles in a shoe that I think is going to surprise people in 2024. Maybe biggest come back of the year???? Looking forward to the full 100 mile recap! -Connor
That finish line part of the video was one of the best things I've watched on RUclips. I think that was a fantastic job done capturing the atmosphere, lots emotions, and contrasts between runners, spectators, and the staffs.
I always enjoy your vids & capturing all the fun 🤩 during marathon week in Boston. My home city! I am glad to see you showing PYNRS & Sid some 🫶 as well. Congrats on London! 🌟🙌
THIS is what I had been waiting for. I know how busy you must be covering one major while tapering for your own major, London this weekend. Thank you for all that you do for taking us along the ride. And, the best for London. I can already feel you will rock it. Best wishes Mike!!!!
I saw you saturday morning at the finish line, during the kids' races. You were with a group and already chatting with someone, so I didn't dare disturb you and be all groupie. But I was thrilled to see you were in Boston too!
This Boston was my first ever marathon (charity bib) and after watching your vids for close to a year it helped me slowly get more into running, so thank you for the inspiration! Actually saw you in Tracksmith but was too nervous to say hi (you gave me a nod as I walked by which was still awesome). Can’t wait for more content on your end!
Boston always there to remind you that there is no guarantee in the marathon. This has been my worst race 3:10:and change in 2017, and my best race at 2:48:12 in 2023. Have to love Boston.
If you were looking for trash, you could've picked me up around mile 22 Monday 😅 Another great Boston weekend and video. Thanks for hosting the Sunday shakeout and have a super London!
Great coverage. A gritty day for gritty people. I had a great weekend, but the race was so much tougher than last year. I certainly earned my medal & still had a blast.
Damn, I miss my childhood hometown. If only I could get that BQ done. Btw, really glad that you caught Suguru Osako crossing the finish line. I think he deserves more coverage in the US.
Incredible as always. You work so hard itinerary wise let alone editing a video AND THEN you’re doing it all again whilst travelling and racing this weekend too. Totally inspiring
These weekends look absolutely FLAT OUT! Hahaha.. I wish Melbourne Marathon would have this sort of pre race madness. But sadly, Not too much.. Thanks for showing us what it's like in your and every other bloggers shoes. It's crazy!!
Thanks for a fun shakeout run on Sunday. I spotted my friend and I running in this video. I’m sure most of us didn’t get the finish time we were expecting, but finishing a tough Boston is really rewarding.
Thanks for Sharing. The Sky Paris game me the worst blister I have ever had in my life. That with the sun made for a 3:14 finish compared to last year 3:02. Glad you were able to come out and cheer everyone on. I am running Chicago in October and Look forward to seeing you again.
You are the best! Lots of personal interest here, and insightful commentary throughout. Boston should hire you as their PR Director. Great job, as usual! Thanks
Thanks for capturing the moment I had those shoes on my feet! I'm still in shock that I actually own a pair now! Great chatting with you, as usual and giving the heads up! ☺
Can't wait to go back and run Boston in 2025! Thanks for all the Boston vibes! One of the coolest 26.2 races there is!!!! I love the heat so selfishly hope its kinda warm next year vs the cold rain I experienced last time. (87F and 73 dew point for my 10 miler today, HR still down in the low 130s 😉)
Man, so wonderful to see you with These Messy Happy, you both gave me much inspiration this year, to start running, I've lost 20 kilos and would do my first Mara in 3 weeks.
Whenever you put your paces for your run on the screen, I gotta pause and just let your speed sink in for a moment. You're one quick non-elite runner. Much respect to you.
Thanks for your videos😊🙏🏾. I train a fair bit on my treadmill recently for my 7marathons in 7days for bowel cancer uk. They have been so good to watch and inspire me to keep going through the fatigue training twice a day early morning and after work. I really appreciate the the time you take to do them and rewatch the marathon weekends the most!! 👏🏽🙌🏽💯💫
Wonderful! Absolutely smashed it. Your parting words were perfect. It was my first Boston and my plan was to qualify again during the race. It became evident from about 10k that it wasn't going to happen and that I'd have to fall back to just finishing because that was more than enough. I've already signed up for a last chance marathon on September 8th in hopes of running 2025.
Another great video reliving boston this year! It was good seeing you for the shakeout with rabbit and thanks for bringing in my wife and my friend's wife, who got lost with the chicago Asics Kofuzi shirt on at 24:43 😁😁😁
Loved this! It was also fun to bump into you if only for a millisecond at the Marathon Sports pop-up on Sunday! Thank you for this video compilation! I am watching this from home in San Diego on Thursday a few days after the race and loving seeing it all from your perspective!
I LOVE your videos Kofuzi. The editing, the music. So good. And I love how you showcase the wonderful running community. I'm training for my third half marathon and I watch these vids for inspiration 😊
What an absolutely awesome video that was. So well put together and capturing the togetherness this kind of event brings along. This marathon looks like the one to do. Hopefully my time in Valencia in December will be enough to get me there next year. 🙏
These runners weekend videos are my favorite, well done! I do have to rag on this race a bit though. I honestly don't get the hype. You literally run through the suburbs for 90% of the race until you reach the city which is at the end. The route makes this race lame compared to all of the other majors. NYC runs you through all 5 boroughs for god sakes (so cool). And now the medal is the ugliest out of all the majors too. I guess the prestige is what it has going for it, but I care much more about the experience than the accolade. Rant over, loved the video haha.
Sooo good Ko! Can’t wait for the “later but not live” episode of the adidas athlete event! You even included a number of mystery shoes for us to look forward to…😮
I heard there would be one that I might be able to attend but it unfortunately doesn't fit into my schedule. I will have to save it for the next UK trip
Fantastic video of an awesome event. The finish line footage was moving, you really captured the emotions expressed as you cross the line. Good luck at London, I might see you there as I'm running it too 👍
I had to pause at 36:58 I look up who that was. Kanwar Singh is in the US Army and was first for the Military March division for the 3rd time. He does 22 push-ups at finish for awareness of the 22 veterans that die daily of s*****e. Thank you for your service!
I remembered the post race interview happening but didn't remember anything I said LOL. I must amend to say the conditions stunk but the crowds were awesome as always. Much respect to the pros who do that on the regular and actually get across what they mean.
Great video as always and just the thing I needed for motivation for my marathon tomorrow. Weird seeing you run on the Newton hills on the sidewalks, most locals use the carriage road which is to your left in the video that runs parallel for the duration of the hills. Good luck in London!
Omg my head swirling from all your meet ups your the rock star 💫 holy. Moly! I love it all!! Great video skills! I’m still learning running and also video but not at same time 😂 the Colfax half marathon is sold out here in Denver I’m excited to be apart of it !
Wow!! I never thought I’d see myself in one of these videos but i was finishing in the white singlet just behind Joe Greer. I don’t know if there’s anyway you can send me that clip, but thank you for inadvertently capturing that!!
Hey Ko, thank you for sharing your video!! I felt all the energy and excitement all over again through your video, great job - as always. Missed meeting you again this year but look forward to another opportunity. Best of wishes for your London experience! Boston certainly warmer than wanted this year but accepted the challenge. Did you happen to make it to the 27th Mile Party?
Everybody is layered up & freezing, & yet, there’s Matt Choi who showed up with tank tops & short shorts. Matt is savage! 😂
Always patiently arrival of these vids..best in the business. You always capture the moment and convey it to us giving us all the feels.
Thanks Wil!
I just love runners weekend videos. They are better than any other series on Netflix. I am serious.
thank you so much
This was my first ever US marathon (I'm from Poland) and first Major. Definitely US know how to organize races and show up to cheer! So glad and thankful for the race. Always great to collab and spend some time with you!
Pegasus turbo?
@@bitmap359 that's my first guess too...
That finish line part of the video was one of the best things I've watched on RUclips.
I think that was a fantastic job done capturing the atmosphere, lots emotions, and contrasts between runners, spectators, and the staffs.
Agreed! As a finisher, the last part of this video was the best! A tough but amazing day.
Thanks so much! It’s different than how I normally cover a marathon, but getting those finish line mini interviews was so much fun!
You are such an inspiration mike! You’ve helped me, and many more reach our goals! thank you for all that you do :)
That is very kind to say. Thank you
Storytelling on point as usual, thanks for the video dude!
Thanks so much!
I always enjoy your vids & capturing all the fun 🤩 during marathon week in Boston. My home city! I am glad to see you showing PYNRS & Sid some 🫶 as well. Congrats on London! 🌟🙌

it wouldn't have been a problem at all. we were all just enjoying the races!
I recently finished a 2-month training plan and have been on a month-long break since. I'm viewing this video to get the motivation to run again.
Hope this helped!
These Runner's Weekend videos are truly the best and make me want to go to every city you show
"What a good day for a day" -Eric Floberg 2024. I think I will make this my life motto Eric.
We’ll have to get a selfie next time!
Just the motivation I needed to get out for a speed workout I wasn't feeling today ☺
Have a great session!

Incredible

it was great to see you again!
Des gliding in with the embrace alongside Sara & Emma is such a cool shot. Awesome recap once again Kofuzi!
Great coverage. A gritty day for gritty people. I had a great weekend, but the race was so much tougher than last year. I certainly earned my medal & still had a blast.
congratulations!
Damn, I miss my childhood hometown. If only I could get that BQ done. Btw, really glad that you caught Suguru Osako crossing the finish line. I think he deserves more coverage in the US.
Dude! LONDON'S CALLING!
Thanks for this and go crush the tea and crumpets!
Incredible as always. You work so hard itinerary wise let alone editing a video AND THEN you’re doing it all again whilst travelling and racing this weekend too. Totally inspiring

The heat and relentless sun made it a tough day for so many!
You are the best! Lots of personal interest here, and insightful commentary throughout. Boston should hire you as their PR Director. Great job, as usual! Thanks
thanks for the kind words!
Thanks for capturing the moment I had those shoes on my feet! I'm still in shock that I actually own a pair now! Great chatting with you, as usual and giving the heads up! ☺
it was great to chat with you!

It is a great community you are part of…. Well maybe in a small way we are all part of ❤
Seeing that smile on CJ's face at 34:35 as he broke 2:10 for the first time! So good!
THE Messy Happy!
Wooooooow! That s a masterpiece!!!! Great job!!!!!!
Thanks so much!

Outstanding video, Kofuzi 👏
was just browsing your channel checking if the Boston video was live yet, perfect timing!!
Nice!
I remembered the post race interview happening but didn't remember anything I said LOL. I must amend to say the conditions stunk but the crowds were awesome as always. Much respect to the pros who do that on the regular and actually get across what they mean.
You are not the first person I interviewed at the finish who couldn’t remember anything they said
Excellent video. Thanks Kofuzi. Like from Spain 🇪🇸. Have a good day.
thanks for watching!
Jesus Mike that last sentiment made me choke up, and I haven't run Boston yet. Got a BQ a couple of days ago though.
Love these… I will get there one day. Going for my BQ attempt #4 in October at the Wineglass.
good luck!!
🎉great job.. Boston 2024
Great video as always and just the thing I needed for motivation for my marathon tomorrow. Weird seeing you run on the Newton hills on the sidewalks, most locals use the carriage road which is to your left in the video that runs parallel for the duration of the hills. Good luck in London!
I'm not a local and no one told me.
