Not really a tofu kind of person, but I’m super intrigued by the stinky tofu, esp since it’s fermented…gonna have to try it whenever we visit Taiwan. I’m glad Jerry got his meatball soup this time 😂😂
Yeah, first time we came to Taiwan, we totally chickened out because of the smell of the stinky tofu. It's so strong in the air. I was intrigued too, so this time around I had to try it. And yeah, it actually ended up being one of our favorites. The sauce and cabbage is so good with it! And yes, poor Jerry finally got his Meatball soup do-over 😆
Haha! Yes, the stinky tofu smell is horrible. But I honestly think we tried the tourist friendly one at Ximending. Like they overfried it so you dont taste the fermented flavor. So definitely try it there first, then work your way up to other ones. We tried it again in another area, and it had more of the fermented flavor, but it was still pretty good 👍 😋
Hahaha the smell was the challenge. I was a bit hesitant at first, but after seeing Marian take the bite, it didn't look bad. I'm glad we tried it and would love to have it again. 😅😊
Thank you for sharing your beautiful journey Tyko family
Hope you enjoy the content. Must try stinky tofu if you in Taiwan
Thanks for the love and support 🙏😃✌️! Come visit soon!
Ximending has such a cool vibe! It's perfect if you stay in that area too because there's so much more other things to try every night 😋
