So that catwoman meets Jessica Rabit dress was made by Tati from the catsuit in I Speak Astronomy. They are doing better now but for a long time were literally singing for their supper and the costuming used for videos got well used in performances too. And in this case, re-used.
Recycling dope materials also builds continuity. I dig it. When I was a band promoter, I witnessed a lot of suppers being sung for, on the regular. I hope Jinjer reaches the stratosphere so they can just sing for fun...
My favorite performance of hers. At some point in the set one of the camera guys noticed the eyeballs she painted on her eyelids and kept trying to get her on camera closing her eyes. That is the one and only time I've seen her do that look on video. At this point she's been doing this for 15 years. They are known as a live band so I don't even know how many shows total she's done but definitely hundreds.
Mine is still Pit of Consciousness (live in Kiev), but keep in mind that I've only heard the songs currently in my Jinjer Reactions playlist. Happily, I have a ton of their work to react to...
I love this song, ir shows the talento off this banda (my favorita banda bye the way). There are só few banda who can do this live. Tati is a true artist, from the growls, tô the Scream, and the the cleans that have só much soul, love it 😃

Loving your Jinjer reactions! THE next one you REALLY NEED to check out is OUTLANDER! It's one of there earlier ones with their old drummer & still had a second guitarist, but this one makes it into my top 5 Jinjer songs. WHO IS GONNA BE THE ONE is another one that absolutely should be on your list of songs from them.
For a first listen this is a tough one sonically because of the audio quality but visually the performance is great. Studio version you can hear everything crystal clear but yes this live performance is one of my favs. Only one other live fav that out does this one is “Who is gonna be the one” which is from their Cloud Factory album my favorite album of all Jinjer albums!

Happy Independence Day! Love this performance, Tati just kills it, stalking that stage like a Lioness looking to pounce! Eugene and Roman create some unusual sounds for this one and Vlad is rocking the drums, especially the double-bass but looks so calm and cool doing it. Tati uses so many extreme vocals throughout, until near the end when she slaps us in the face with some powerful clean vocals. Hope you caught the part where Tati's eyes on her eyelids steal a scene at the 3:10 mark. Thank you for the reaction, it was every bit as fun as I thought it would be! That's right: the arrangements are something else. Can't figure it out exactly but there is some eastern, slavic rhythm and blues involved..................I guess;-)
It's a relativily rare case when Tatiana totaly outshines the band. Usually the guys and Tati is on the same level. The band's performance here is questionable because of the sound quality and because of the specific of the composition. But Tatiana's performance is on a world class level, on the very top of it. She clearly proves, especially in outro, that she's one of the few best frontpersons in a modern metal, or even in a modern popular music overall.
Tatiana becomes the Succubus onstage. The individual Tatiana takes a coffee break. And the sound is never up for question, when in an open-air festival.
This video is great primarily for Tatiana's kick-ass vocal performance & stage presence. Tati's live vocals on this track sound much better than the studio recording, IMO, because the studio recording is overly compressed, removing much of her dynamics, and there's too much layering in the outro. The lads are also performing perfectly well, but for whatever reason, the guitar sound is a muddy, muddled mess, and that's really too bad because the instrumentals in this song are fantastic. I highly recommend Roman's guitar playthrough and Dmitriy Kim's drum playthrough (Dmitriy plays on the studio track, but Vlad is playing this live performance). The lyrics are pretty awesome, too, and there's a cool lyric video for this song. Cheers! 🤘

Tatiana paints with her voice, above and beyond what most vocalists do, simply because basic music theory dictates staying loyal to one section of the musical "color wheel" or the other... You caught that, ja? I started primary school in West Germany (800 years ago, when it was still East vs. West). They taught all the American kids basic German language (counting, a few nursery rhymes, etc.). Having grown up on military bases all over the world, I became a bit of a mockingbird with scraps of many languages and a few delicious dialects.
