I thought the same thing. Not every dog is trained or in a calm state of mind. Why couldn't a staff member take the dog and make sure it's calm beforehand as well? I guess it isn't their responsibility, but it sort of is. It's their job, right? I bet they used this dog as an example, and he taught the whole crew.
but the thing is: owners often bring their dogs all at the same time, then go to work. so at rushtime, staff cannot correct all of this, when there's another 4 waiting. BUT we can all work together TRYING.
One human at a time 😊. I have trained horses and dogs and to me being the leader of the pack or the boss mare of a herd is what animals understand. Love your videos Cesar. ❤Their language not ours.
That's EXACTLY what I thought -- she was SO busy "showing" how much she knew she didn't REALLY listen to Cesar, and then promptly forgot everything. I hate to say it, but I was almost wishing the dog would get kicked out and then have to go back to Wisconsin and get away from the obnoxious owner. Poor dog ... lol.
Looks to me like the attendants need training too. They were breaking several of Cesar's rules themselves. Especially approaching with excited energy and giving affection at inappropriate times. Causing then rewarding excitement is definitely not helping the situation.
Great work Cesar ❤️ I love that Cesar finds so much joy in helping dogs and people. He is such a beautiful soul ❤️❤️❤️. Kendra did awesome. I think it helped give her confidence and she loved that

Great video! I did notice that the daycare receptionist had excited energy too when greeting the dog. Does that have an effect as well, or does it mostly depend on the dog’s owner?
My mini schnauzer came to me at 5 years old and she already knew how to walk with a human. She’s my first dog so I wondered why she would wait for me to walk first, but then I learned “oh that’s what’s supposed to happen”. 😂 She never walks in front of me unless I tell her to and she’s off-leash. I’m so thankful she came (mostly) trained already as my first dog! She’s literally the best dog and worth every single penny and minute! ❤

Many small terriers are ratters. They're born tough, fierce, and courageous. A schnauzer is a serious breed. Not everyone can handle them. Same with other hunting types like Jack Russells, Fox Terriers, etc.
No. It’s typically not that they think it’s “cute”, usually it’s because they don’t see it as a big issue because it’s a tiny dog that “wouldn’t hurt anyone” in their opinion. People are also very ignorant when it comes to dog behavior & psychology, they don’t realize dogs (& animals in general tbh) are just like people in the sense they need rules, boundaries, limitations, expectations & most certainly need to be reprimanded.
I had a west highland terrier. You need to know what you are getting. They are stubborn, but full of character. And smart! He knew what I wanted every single time, but I could see him deciding 'nope, don't feel like it.'
The dog comes in the daycare ahead of the owner, pulling on the leash and in an exciting state. She should get her dog in a relaxed state before entering, allow her to acclimate and calm down once inside the building and calm down again on entering the play area.

Only one question. If you took out student loans to get an education, why aren't you using your degree to get a job and pay off your loans? Student loans and a college education are a huge overkill just to be a waitress.
Super. I have a neighbor whose two dogs bark at me all the time from her yard. I cannot ejoy sitting on my patio, gardening, etc. What can I do about it?
Did you talk to your neighbours that it's annoying for you? Put a privacy protection fence or try to befriend him. I did that with a Cairn Terrier that always barked at me and my dog, when I passed their garden. Always stress and barking. Once the owner was there, I asked for the other dogs name. And then I always talked to him, when we passed the fence, like "Hi Max, how are you today? You such a fine little doggy! Such a good friend!" etc. with a calm voice, despite of the barking. After 3-4 more times we we were at that garden gate, both dogs just sat calm, nice and quietly, Max on the other side of the fence, mine beside me. Since then there was no more stress and barking. Later he was even waggling his tail in a friendly way, when we passed and I said Hi to him. I know Cesars motto is "No talk", but in our case that helped a lot and Max got used to us.
Standard problems; ineffective owner who lacks leadership and can't even walk a dog, an excited, uncorrected dog and wrong leash. Kendra says the dog has some issues, while looking at a completely calm dog. Surprised that Cesar didn't flat-out say, "The dog doesn't have any issues, you're the problem."
In fairness, the staff also had to stop working Ebbielou up prior to bringing her into the pen. Staff was all, "Hi baby" petting and working her up. If staff practiced, "no touch, no talk, no eye contact" from the start, it would've solved at least half the problem.
Hola! Yo tengo una puppy shiht- Pu tiene 8 meses y ella no hace ni pipi ni caca afuera de la casa. La puedo sacar un buen rato y nada. Que puedo hacer ? Gracias
My dog is a rescue dog from Romania. I got him with around 3 1/2 months and it took forever for him to be housebroken. He didn't know anything and was afraid of everything, especially men with a stick or an umbrella, and kids. I think he was 8 months old when he finally didn't make anything inside the appartement anymore. Sometimes still happens when there is fireworks or other noisy stuff outside, but that's okay. Too stressfull for him. The dog, I had 20 years ago, only needed 4 weeks to be housebroken, he was from a breeder. Maybe it's a difference too, if they are rescue dogs or from a good breeder. I guess every dog is different. If he makes something outside you have to praise him 🥰 I still do with mine, altho he's 10 now 😂
