I remember this song played a few times on MCM, and then disappeared. Didn't see it again for years. I picked this album up immediately (no small task, esp. getting music in India that decade), and it immediately became 1 of my favourite albums of all time.
@@enasnirercos7626 Unfortunately, no. It lasted only 3-4 years, during the early 2000's. MCM was the greatest music channel, especially during a time when MTV decided to do 90% reality shows.
@@diggidydamndave Okay that I know, it started in 1998-99 in India, even I used to watch it that's why I asked you. I thought you still get it. It's a French Music channel, they used to play a lot of French Music and I loved it too. Then after few years, it suddenly stopped. MTV used to be good till 14th August 1997 and after 15th August 1997 it became a Hindi Music and Fake Reality Show channel. Gone are those days.
@@enasnirercos7626 Man, they used to play EVERYTHING... from all around the world. I discovered so much from that channel in the short time they were here. Sadly, the market was pakka Bollywood, so MCM didn't stand a chance.
@@diggidydamndave Yes, they played a lot of international Music that even MTV and Channel V never played. Even I discovered a lot of very good songs from MCM and even FTV. Even FTV would play lot of good songs in the background of those ramp walking.
