That sea serpent video was actually created by someone known as HollywoodScotty, who has a channel dedicated to editing creatures into real footage. The videos are clearly made for entertainment purposes, but content farms keep stealing them and taking them out of context.
Zak catchem is the owner of the channel “Catchem all fishing”, he has cut off axolotl limb nubs because he didn’t give them proper hiding places and has had bass die because he kept them with Pacu. I thought he was cool when I was younger but I realize he has no clue how to take care of the monsters he keeps. He also put a glo betta in a tiny ass tank

You should look up just them swimming in aquariums. They can swim backwards and when you see it you can almost hear the sound of a bus backing up, lol! Seeing that guy in the first clip casually throwing fish into the water made me physically sick. Before releasing it, you're supposed to hold fish in the water for about ten seconds so that it can calm down and recover before swimming away. That's like basic knowledge.

All sand and normal gravel bottoms with natural plants and plenty of hiding places. Thanks for educating us.

8:40 Even with Water the PC wouldnt die, because Water itself is not conducting electricity, only the minerals insidenit are. So destilled water conducts no elictricity, or atleast extremely little. So if you dont do this for long, the hardware wont take damage. Through, since the PC partd are out of metal, the water will also get rich with metal and you need to replace the water frequently for it to stay destilled
After hurricanes or just heavy rain in FL, it was common to have a few dozen of those invasive catfish like fish hanging out in the yard after the flood receded. Marijuanas are also very common. A neighbor had a 20 footer once and made the cover of the renowned High times which I understand a few ichthyologists read.
10:03 I actually got 2 of these in my 600 liter (158,5 gallons) aquarium, I dont think the Tank has a strong current, they always swim like that and they swim sideways a lot of times and sometimes even upside down. They are both around 30 cm (11.8 inch) long and in my opinion they're definitely one of the most interesting (I also have eels) fish in my tank.
how are your two doing in the same tank? ive always been told that they're pretty territorial so housing two in the same set up was a big no no, so this is the first time ive heard of two ghost knifes being in the same tank, though yours seem to still be juveniles so that might explain it too.
@@fingegotmilk1465 its best to have them in a group or alone, however, I originally bought three of them and one unfortunately passed away. The two I got get along "okay" I would say, I think its a male and a female and the bigger one sometimes bites the other one a little bit, it doesnt happen very often though and its not like it leaves marks or something. It seems more like scaring him away and at night you can see them swim around together sometimes.
there are actually a lot of arrowana (im not sure if i’m speling it right) and red tail catfish in florida! theyre just really common not sure why. goliath groupers also live around florida and the intercoastal (that stupid “carp” from the beginning)
10:25 The tank does not have a heavy current. Knife Fish are able to move forward and backward with that ribbon fin and its rippling. They often poke around in a place moving back and forth, The will also turn upside down to pursue food in crevices and stuff.
I remember playing a flash game that was a shark sucker game and I don’t remember if you were trying to sucker your way to the top or bottom of the ocean fish leaping
1:40 reminds me of this video I saw of an aquarium where a hammerhead shark was eating one of the stingrays, yea, that wasn't the smartest idea to keep them together considering hammerheads are a known predator of rays…
The fans in the fish tank PC moves the oil over the heatspreader, it's exactly the same thing as with a normal computer except liquid instead of gas. These things were popular like 10-15 years ago.
AVNJ should totally react to that one tiktoker who released 1M+ frogs into their local ecosystem, not fish but I'd still like to see his reaction to it
3:33 Since when did Hammerheads live in the UK, you can tell it is the UK because of that orange and blue boat in the background, it’s an RNLI lifeboat
Its always CCTV for the same reason crimes typically only happen on CCTV. Theyre just always running. So they tend to be the thing recording at the random time/place.
Somewhat agree, but I'm not willing to give the benefit of the doubt. The water is still, meaning there's no filter and plant growth indicates high nitrates in the water
Guy at 2:28 is Zak Catchem. He's on youtube, showed himself making that pond. (It's not a pool, never touched chlorine.) I used to enjoy his vids, but well, not so much anymore now that I know a little more about fish.

@@justsomekirbowithoutamusta1852 I'm like 90% sure I ran out of air after reading their comment.
@@justsomekirbowithoutamusta1852 sorry on mobile and the commas and periods don’t work for some reason for me

I just found this channel and this may be my favorite RUclips channel
The guy talking about stargazer fish is like the nerdy kid from Polar Express all grown up.
Cool!
Didn’t know that
how are your two doing in the same tank? ive always been told that they're pretty territorial so housing two in the same set up was a big no no, so this is the first time ive heard of two ghost knifes being in the same tank, though yours seem to still be juveniles so that might explain it too.
2:40 lmao the way he said that guy's name like that alone was a burn
They filled the tank up with non-conductive mineral oil in the PC build. Linus Tech Tips has a similar "tank" build video they did.
Being edge oriented is also how the elusive creature called an introvert goes anywhere, I’ve heard.
Edge orientation sounds so strange and interesting, I just can't imagine walking along a river or on a sidewalk.
thedippydetectorists is wild as hell with these captions "The argentinian booty buster is the most flammable bird in the mariana trench"
This is so agreeable
there are actually a lot of arrowana (im not sure if i’m speling it right) and red tail catfish in florida! theyre just really common not sure why. goliath groupers also live around florida and the intercoastal (that stupid “carp” from the beginning)
“Fish biologist: I don’t know ocean fish very well.. lmao
10:25 The tank does not have a heavy current. Knife Fish are able to move forward and backward with that ribbon fin and its rippling. They often poke around in a place moving back and forth, The will also turn upside down to pursue food in crevices and stuff.
Actually like live half a mile away from aquarium co-op that has Murphy the puffer fish.
"Cyclop? But it has two eyes"
Uuuuhhh, boy 😆
I remember playing a flash game that was a shark sucker game and I don’t remember if you were trying to sucker your way to the top or bottom of the ocean fish leaping
I just watched a video on here of a dude getting a remora stuck to his back!
Are they more suction cup like tree frogs or bio-velcro like geckos?
I’ve had a remora follow me around while snorkeling for scallops and every time I would reach for him he’d flip to the opposite side of my body😂😂
Hammer head sharks are *flammable* of mammals *in the sea*
Seems about right
AVNJ should totally react to that one tiktoker who released 1M+ frogs into their local ecosystem, not fish but I'd still like to see his reaction to it
The most important thing I learned from this video is that fish don't have access to google maps.
That shark definitely had a personal vendetta against that fish.
That was not a sawshark, it was a sawfish.
Sawfish are bottom dwellers, and transition for brackish water bodies
And sawfish is a ray
So which is which, you said Sawfish twice 😂
@@isakkilkki Sawfish are rays and live in brackish waters in shallow bottoms.
Sawsharks are deep sea creatures.
2:42, it could be much worse, and the algae part really isn't that bad, because natural ponds will often have murky water because of algae.
Somewhat agree, but I'm not willing to give the benefit of the doubt. The water is still, meaning there's no filter and plant growth indicates high nitrates in the water
@@ScorpioXVirgo ? you can see that there is a filter
Guy at 2:28 is Zak Catchem. He's on youtube, showed himself making that pond. (It's not a pool, never touched chlorine.) I used to enjoy his vids, but well, not so much anymore now that I know a little more about fish.
the clip at 3:32 is a basking shark in portrush harbour, 6-7 years ago, I was there!
Back at again with another great AVNJ reacting to Fish TikTok also I wish yall a great day.
