Day 146 turns out be your Penultimate Day. Cheers to your smile of exhilaration. Unexploded Military Ordnance? 🤔 Questionable with available 21st Century technology. Exo Mountain Gear sponsored a “Death March” from rim to rim of the Grand Canyon. Not a good name. Nevertheless, it was a 24 hour 50 mile hike. You did 40. 50 would be a glide. That mini arch definitely looks like the arch at Arches National Monument. So Cool! Bravo to your most gracious explanation of your feelings as your hike nears the finish. Thanks for sharing that special personal moment. You have always given the best poetic description of your experiences. Kudos for having such a passion for all embracing communication. “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” Walt Disney. Have been watching since you took off from Hart's Pass to tag the border. I've really appreciated your videos. They've been very educational both in terms of things to do and things not to do.
Since finishing the trail, approximately the same time it took you to hike it has elapsed. I'm curious:
1. How was readjustment to "the real world?" Were there any difficulties? How did you deal with them?
2. Now that some time has passed, what would you do differently if you were to hike the trail again in its entirety or any part thereof? And if only a part, what part would you choose?

I have enjoyed your videos and have been waiting for this to drop! Looks like you were blessed with the Santa Ana winds before you left CA. FYI, I am planning on a SOBO after I retire. I've bee noting your resupply points for reference. Side question, did you record your Long Trail Hike? If so, we would love to see it.
Thanks! Haha yes, super windy at times. Congrats on the upcoming hike! I know the anticipation and excitement you must be feeling. I didn't record my Long Trail hike with video; only a personal journal each day. However I am thinking about hiking it again this year now that I've moved to VT. If I do I will definitely do daily videos this time. 🌞
