It would be cool to see more of these videos from different times, thank you Jeremiah!
I’m too busy scraping myself up off the floor. The whole vibe is magic. A cocoon of soft spoken awesomeness. Why is it so effective?! 😂 My brain is a puddle and it doesn’t care. 😂😂
Some of the best ASMR ive seen/heard in a long time. Bigger channels dont have this kinda quality anymore imo. Just kinda the same thing over and over again with them. Thank you for standing out. Subbed
So, so good! Used to play blackjack with a friend who did a lot of the things you do in this video... It always gave me ASMR (although I didn't know what it was at the time). This is giving me great tingles and warm memories. Thank you!!
Hmmm. Mickey, from Boston, was around in the 1930s... This is certainly an interesting lore update Jeremiah. ❤EDIT: BTW video idea, just normal blackjack, you keep winning, until the dealer confronts you about counting cards. Just tell the truth. Like the lawyer interrogation videos. I think it'd be cool and intense.
It would be cool, but I don't like stacking the deck. Part of the fun for me is that I don't know how the video will go. I'm along for the ride with you. ;)
Adjusted for inflation and using 1936 as a fixed stand-in, $300.00 then is $6,514.45 in 2023. "You're only down $40.00" becomes "You're only down $868.59."
Mickey was mentioned more than once in this vid. Was this a foreshadow for a Mickey return? I think it’s time for his comeback. 👀😌also just loving the New York accent 💙 This era is just 👌🏻
Very glad I found this in my recommended. My sleep music has all gotten old and though I love Ephemeral Rift, the same voice every night can be a little annoying after a while. Love the vibe and the voice, I’d needed another good ASMRtist. Surprised you don’t have a bigger audience yet. Only thing I’d really mention is the cards and tokens could be a bit loud compared to your voice, if you could lower their volume that’d be awesome.
To put into scale how much this money is, multiply it by 17.25. I used an inflation calculator to know what 10 dollars would be in 1930. So it's appropriate for him to be impressed with $300, because it's actually $5,175.

It's a pretty simple game, lots of easy tutorials online. After that, it's just practice and remembering what hands are risky and which aren't. It's super fun too!

Prohibition-era ASMR undefeated, between this and Goodnight Moon's speakeasy stuff I don't think there's a more immaculate vibe out there
The accent is incredible and the tone of your voice is immaculate
To put it into perspective, a $300 buy-in during 1930 is worth $5,335.56 in 2023.
not unlike my fathers buy ins using my college funds😅

As a card counter this is heavenly ASMR for me. Love it!
Idk why but I always patiently wait for you to ask me for a drink every time I watch one of these 🤣🍻
Going to a casino soon for my friend’s birthday. Gotta give myself a refresher before playing for real
