As a life long LeBron hater, this very game made me a fan. He was the ultimate underdog, and against all odds, he came out short in the most demoralizing way. His coach had a time out and didn't react, and so the rest was history. Truly a sad game that set the tone for the rest of the series.

The best performance in finals. Obviously. But look at that cavs team. I cant even believed that team made it to the nba finals. It really is lebron vs 73-9(best in history) plus KD. Damn, have mercy.
This man competed against KD, Steph, Klay, Draymond with Kevin Love, Tristan, JR and George Hill, and dropped 51/8/8 on them. This was without a doubt the best team that was assembled in the history of NBA, literally to prevent Lebron from getting 2-3 more rings when he was in his peak. They let GSW to pull this off to protect Jordan's legacy because Lebron was going to be bigger than the NBA itself.
Hurts to watch this knowing how the game ends, but with Bron finally slowing down and thinking about retirement, its games like this i like to go back to remember that this dude was so great i actually thought he could beat that GSW team with that Cleveland team
This type of hunger and determination is what I miss about LbJ. I keep on watching this video to remind me how great a Bball player he is. It sucks how this game ended

I think this post season is a testament to LeBron's true offensive prowess. He was known to be a pass-first player, not having that "killer mentality" as they say and he's getting criticized by most poeple for it but if he's mostly on attack mode, this is what happens. 8 40pt games, 2 game winners, 51pts vs 4 all stars, LeBronto.. you name it. Just a heck of a storyline and playoff run despite the result in the finals. His only flaw was that he got disheartened by that dumb move from JR and got lazy the rest of the series, but to be fair he did a lot the whole season, even playing 82 games and playing 48 minutes in some games in the playoffs. Can't blame him if his morale was shattered.

The team with the best record of all time had to add a top 15-20 of all time player in his prime to beat this man.
ANOTHER LEVEL.
Man LeBron is a beast! He is playing solo squad no fill 😂
Hahahaha, all facts no cap🤣🧢
May 11 2019 ...still hurts as hell ! Finding the courage to watch this video. Lbj your the greatest and their should never be any doubt or discussion about that !
The way this game was flowing it felt like if Cleveland won it, they woulda won the whole thing.
They could have tbh…
Nigga it was one game. The rest of the games LeBron got blown out by like 20+.. He had a chance to win this game in particular but what makes you think he would had won when just the year before, they had a better roster than the 2018 Cavs and still lost in 5.
@@nosmoke6556 did u know he fractured his hand in frustration after this game?? They could've had insane momentum
@@amazinc754 NIGGA YOU CRAZY. They was losing in 5 even if Bron won Game 1. And even if you wanted to say what if Bron went Superman mode again, it would had been 6 games max but that’s literally it.
im a trailblazers fan. as long as my team doesnt reach up to finals, i support LeBron. i have been watching NBA since early 90s.. never seen any guy has impacted the game that much. i have full respect to him. wish him to have 7 rings, and close everybodys mouth forever. even for now, whatever he has done, for me, it is enough to say he is the GOAT
GOAT . Cavs will win game 2 if all players playing like today
LeGOAT James 😂😂😂😂 51 POINTS AND STILL LOSE.
LeGOAT James No they won't they'll win if Lebron does this again and if they all show up
LeGOAT James and what if warriors play the same except with kd making more shots and not shooting bad from the field..???
Except JR he better not pull what he did today
It all depends on the refs
It's a blessing seeing this man play like this day in and day out, and Jr is so trash like he really costed a valuable possessions by runners the clock. 🤦♂️
Much respect from Lebron James. Truly a great one. As for Draymond Green, l hate that dude. Always start stuff, no class, and no sportsmanship.
Dreymond Green is a pretender and lousy cocky dreamer his dick is much smaller than James does. What a fool
Sean Henderson Dramond is a dirty player But his teammates like him
Earl The Pearl OMG FACTS he’s ass now lmfao
Drops 51 on the self proclaimed best defender ever
I don't know how many times I had seen the highlights but still pissed me off.
So many damn calls went against the Cavs the ref gave that to Golden State.
That was a masterpiece from LEBRON
This was one of the best finals performances I have ever seen. The and1 was the cherry on top for this performance. The events that followed was a tragedy. LBJ left it all on the court
It's a shame Kyrie is not there anymore...This game would have been VERY different.
Uffdaa Very Different!!!
Nah. Kyrie only made Lebron worse after 2016.
Lebron after all the struggles he had finally won his 4th ring with the lakers for Kobe REPSECT🥺🙏🏽‼️
Still one of the greatest finals performance ever, King James the Goat 🐐👑
I wish Lebron played like this everygame in terms of his aggression on offense. Truly unstoppable
Man gets old
@@jhebvargzey he has a complete team now

@@samboywakita8329 true, you got curry dropping 32 and still lose. This aint a one man game
That ending made me shed a tear for bron epic performance ruined🤦♂️ Lebron gotta do this every game for cavs to even have a chance... sad
I’m not a Cleveland fan..but damn bron gave them the business..and jr was on that henny 😂😂😂
Incredible performance that won’t be forgotten. This is most memorable game from that series
breaks my heart. every single time. wish i could watch his greatest game ever without that happening. if i feel this way i can't imagine how he felt. and i can't imagine the strength he's got to get over it and beast the way he's been this season. really hopes he gets a redemption chip or 2 in LA
I believe Lebron will win at least one more ring 🙌🏿💯
Prolly win a couple more with AD if I'm being honest

Yes he was
Most painful NBA Finals for me. 2014 and 2017 didn't hurt as much as this 😭
No one talks about those back to back 3s in durrants then Thompsons face at the top of the key.. That's clutch
NBA is pathetic. Refs vs Lebron. Its basically 1 on 8. 9 including JR. If you arent going to admit any fault in the games outcomes, at least open some sort of investigation into the refs. I have a feeling either theyre getting rich under the table or the NBA itself is just setting these games up.
LeBron is proving he's the GOAT thru losing. Let that sink in

had to come back and watch this masterpiece
Best basketball player i’ve ever seen in my life 🥹
As a life long LeBron hater, this very game made me a fan. He was the ultimate underdog, and against all odds, he came out short in the most demoralizing way. His coach had a time out and didn't react, and so the rest was history. Truly a sad game that set the tone for the rest of the series.
Did Jordan ever see a team like Golden State? GS is responsible for 3 of Lebron's losses. And he still put up the best numbers every time. Let that sink in.
BuT JOrdAn WaS THe 70 WiN TeaM
Lebron got owned by 38 year old Barea, let that sink in
It's been 4 years, and this is the first time I clicked this video finally.. I didn't watch this clip because my heart breaks everytime I remember this game.. They were so close to win this game, but then the overturn call of the refs and JR's stupidity happened .. Bron tried so hard.. Very hard, just to be wasted in the air..
2018 Lebron was different to me this is when he become the greatest of all time!
Inhuman
just feel so bad for the goat, delivered like the legend that he is but still couldnt win it...team mates played real solid but still not good enough ..and im partially blaming the refs here for the loss....i think they did a good job overall but three calls against LeBron towards the end....haters stop saying the nba is rigged for the King....youre stupid
Tank Evans goat = pass at the end of regulation to your bum point guard and score no baskets in OT
ITS SAD. JUST SAD.
titty bars cure sadness
Don't ever compare 2022 Curry to this monster 2018 LeBron
He could drive, lay, and shoot however he wanted. Absolute brilliance.
i feel like offensively, this was LeBrons absolute peak and he was at his apex here
Does Anybody In Their Right Mind Still Think Kevin Durant Is A Better Player Than Lebron James?

Meh lebron played the whole game basically so ofc he would be tired at OT, he saw the L coming after jr smith's fuck up
LeBron the GOAT this game and maybe even Finals MVP but Jordan Clarkson, George Hill & J.R Smith are to blame for this loss. Clarkson missed multiple wide open 3's while Hill choked and missed the FT and J.R pulled it out the paint.

They let GSW to pull this off to protect Jordan's legacy because Lebron was going to be bigger than the NBA itself.
if kd wasn't on warriors, Lebron would have 7 rings tbh
Yeah ok, its not about ifs, woulds, etc.
People have to understand that he plays at a different level, there is no one like him!!
LEBRON A BEAST HE MAKE IT LOOK SO EASY
Get some better refs to rig the game, it was too obvious tonight NBA
The game of Basketball is way too easy for LeBron James, but winning with the Cleveland Cavaliers is not soo easy
Still Watching This Legendary Mannnnn KING LEBRON JAMES👑👑👑
Hurts to watch this knowing how the game ends, but with Bron finally slowing down and thinking about retirement, its games like this i like to go back to remember that this dude was so great i actually thought he could beat that GSW team with that Cleveland team
A stack Mavs team, a well oil machine in the Spurs, and the high power Warriors team. Idk anybody that have to face such competition in the finals.
The Refs calls weakened the Cavs.
This type of hunger and determination is what I miss about LbJ. I keep on watching this video to remind me how great a Bball player he is. It sucks how this game ended
This is the equivalent of you spending 20 years and finally getting the cure for cancer and some guy thought it was sprite and drank it
Look at this team ! He have carried multiple team that had no business in the playoffs there!!!
After the shit LeBron went through this year, We honestly can’t get even get mad if he leaves to go join some all stars.

Beast Coast Regime I agree, this team is worse than both the 2007 team he took to the finals and the 2010 squad he lost to Boston with in the eastern conference finals.. it's crazy how much he has to do to keep this team in games smh 🤦🏽♂️

Greatest individual finals game performance ever seen!
