I totally get cutting your hair after having a baby! When I had my youngest daughter (over 9 years ago), I chopped my hair off so it was super short. It made things a lot easier! I also understand the no sleeping deal. Thankfully, my kiddos are old enough now, so they sleep! Lol I do miss the baby years though. My girls are now 16 and 9. Time flies!
I can confirm as someone who has nephews and long hair and they were really grabby with their little hands and I can tell you somehow baby hands are just strong lol I had to wear my hair up and out of the way so they wouldn't just yank the heck out of it. Also I can tell you that with long hair you can find just loose strands of my hair everywhere, cause it falls out all the time. So you will find my hair stuck in just about everything.

Hair are indeed dangerous to little kids, even with your current lenght but it's more or less because it gets tangled into their little baby toes and could cause (minor?) cutting which can just like, be prevented by checking your kid's feet after his bath 👍(hand hands, i think i remember that it's less likely with hands but, eh, never hurts to check) I don't think it's a common occurence but, you know, at least you know it can happen o/
I love your haircut! Also, take your time. You're a mom whose baby's sleeping pattern is changing. You can adjust your posting schedule when you need to/want to.😊
Hysterical 😂 your hair is great. There is actually something called a hair tourniquet in which the hair can wrap around the baby's fingers or toes and cut off circulation. I had a patient that had to have surgery to remove it and save his finger. No lie!! Looking forward to next week, get some rest! Probably just a growth spurt! ❤

I used to do that with my hair. But I would typically cut it much shorter and grow it for 3 years. Like you, my hair used to grow fast and it was thick. Now I’m old and it is very thin and grows much slower. I don’t let it grow as long as I used to and when I cut it, it’s very very short. I still appreciate long hair on young people but babies will help you decide to keep your hair shorter 😂
Yes hair can hurt a baby. They can eat it, plus it can get wrapped around their toes and fingers and cut into them badly. It happend to my daughter. She got a sitters hair around her toe and I noticed it the next day when her toe was turning purple and I had to rush her to the er to get it cut off because it was cutting into her badly.
