I can not do anything but promised myself not to forget her in my special supplications. I wish to have a daughter so I could name her Aafiya Siddiqi. I'm truly heartbroken, I've recently quit teaching at a very prestigious institution because I was so disappointed by the curriculums taught to our students nowadays. Unfortunately we're following the western educational systems and producing workers rather than thinkers. We have Quran as our devine guide which we've sadly let go and that's the reason for our religious, moral, ethical, political and economical decline. Knowing that the outcome could've been different by Dr. Afia's great work, just throws me in depression.

I have heard sister Aafiya's name 12 years back for the first time. I was told she was neuro scientist, imprisoned by America. But I actually today knew the reality could not control my tears. I can not do anything but promised myself not to forget her in my special supplications. I wish to have a daughter so I could name her Aafiya Siddiqi.
May Allah release Sister Aafiya and our Ammi Sayiddah Aasiya Andrabi soon.

I'm truly heartbroken, I've recently quit teaching at a very prestigious institution because I was so disappointed by the curriculums taught to our students nowadays. Unfortunately we're following the western educational systems and producing workers rather than thinkers. We have Quran as our devine guide which we've sadly let go and that's the reason for our religious, moral, ethical, political and economical decline. Knowing that the outcome could've been different by Dr. Afia's great work, just throws me in depression.

From today onwards Dr. Afia siddiqui and all of her family will be in my prayers...Insha Allah....at least this is what we can do.... we the nationals of Pakistan who have no value not within the country and on international platform we are just facing insult because of our corrupt leaders. Dr, Sahiba rightly said that even India values its people dignity not within the country but on international platforms.
