I have an autism diagnosis too. I can be dense, insensitive, strange and eccentric, and have been called a fair number of other things, but I'm not stupid. Some people have it way worse than others but someone who has it really bad, bad enough to make such terrible decisions, would have a hard time explaining how they got the position where they were able to do that in the first place. It might be a factor, but is highly questionable as an excuse or justification.

and i can tell ya i dont do well with explaining stuff in stressful areas.
so ya jail shouldnt be for us cause like you said some have it worse then others and those cant help it and cant explain why. doesnt make em a bad person. so instead of sending to jail, get them help to they can relieve there stressful life.

That young man took an oath that hundreds of thousands of his peers honor and live by all day, every day, without leaking any classified documents. Other people in his chain of command should be punished as well. He deserves to serve some prison time for not living up to the same standard that his peers do, poor security doesn’t invite this sort of problem, incompetent, unprofessional and disloyal people create these problems.
That’s why DJT should be facing the same consequences as this young Airman will.

Not sure I am believing the autism diagnosis story as normally when you go into the service there is a physical and a mental evaluation done on all Personnel before entering into the service. More than likely something would have been discovered at that time versus the latter. This may be an excuse to get a lighter sentence
